Since the beginning of the creation of Belgium, there has always been a war between the Catholic church, and the Freemasons.
Looks like the Freemasons have the upper hand now.

Belgium's  been controlled by Freemasons since the 18th century...  :???: that's basically the underlying reason we split from the Netherlands.
 
Not because of the differences in faith and the happenings during the Eighty years' war? :eek: Y'know, with the North being liberated and the south (later belgium) being kept in Spanish hands?
 
Right, but I don't see how the Freemasons directly oppose the church in this specific instance.
I don't see how this article indicates that Freemasons have a better grasp of the country.
The exit of the church does not mean the entrance of the Freemasons. Get wutamean?
 
It was mostly the nobles who wanted to split and the educated, basically the freemasons. The catholic church took the opportunity to split itself from the protestants.

Since then they've always been struggling for power in Belgium, I'm guessing no one except the Belgians get this taught at school  :???:
