There was a time when there was but one king in Ciandra. But there came an uprising among the citizens of the East who did not cherish the customs of the Elder Kingdom. at the conclusion of the Great War, the armies of the East withdrew beyond the river Undae, past the Carster Mountains and formed a new Kingdom, that of Anshy, for the King who founded it. Opposite the Great River now stood the Kingdom of Vangred
In the days of Drebor, 43rd King of Vangred, War once more fell upon the divided lands of Ciandra.
The days that follow will be far more perilous than any have ever seen. But those beyond, will be the most glorious of all. This is the tale of a journey from peril to glory; from the deepest of despairs to the strongest of loves. A tale of anguish, war and hope. This is...
the map:

it's about 4 times as large as native.
planned features:
-complete weapons replacement
-no polearms or crossbows, they just don't fit with my theme (I have however, decided to have some throwing spears and maybe a glaive here and there)
-complete armor replacement (a different type for every troop type hopefully; which would be over 50)
-3 main factions: Anshy, Vangred, Trebay plus a *secret* group that'll appear later in the game
-new troop trees, only 3-4 tiered, skipping some of the native tiers (e.g. 5-15-25-40)
-town capture system (hopefullyactually, I'm wavering on this, not sure I really want it implemented.)
-at least one AI initiated castle siege (if possible to do yet)
-new castle/town scenes
-hope to impliment a camp system similar to CraftMod
-army camps for all 3 factions, allowing you to talk with the generals, lieutenants, etc. of your army.
-will try to implement two "Zendars" named differently of course
-plenty of recruitable NPC heroes (thinking 3-5 per faction)
-may add some weapons from Raptor's pack, not sure yet.
-probably add the Arena expansion.
-war system similar to TLD
-very large war parties once the war officially begins
troops trees:
Vangred:

Anshy:

Trebay:

capitals:
Vangred: Winton
Anshy: Wektor
Trebay: Servod
thanks:
Armagan and Co., for the awesome game!
Thorgrim for the map editor and BRFEdit.
AncientWanker for his mod inspiring me to do my own.
Yoshi, highelfwarrior, fisheye, Winter and everyone else who's made a tutorial, answered a question I've asked or helped in any way. all very helpful
credits:
octoburn: map, weapon meshes, Omosair, Wektor, Nimty scene props.
Septa Scarabae: bronze scale armor.
Tomato: touching up above scale armor, all shield textures.
yori: scene props (tents, Grimana buildings)
Rathanax: trebay bow mesh (from his weapons pack; check it out, some pretty cool meshes in there)
Cartread: Undae Sentinel and Taurmos guard sword textures (they look great!)
some screenies:
out of the mist rises the encircling mountains of the city of Wektor, capital of Anshy

behold, the King's Tower, Nimty

putting it all in perspective:

Omosair, ancient fortress and guard of the north

a soldier of Trebay (new armor, horse, weapon and shield- and no, they won't be bootless
)

same soldier, dismounted, showing off sword.

new screenies (8/20)

a few more new screenies (8/22)

as of now, I'm mainly looking for texturers and someone to help with the coding. I think most of the armors can be basically retextured versions of meshes that already exist.
