The EVENT LOG is ACTUALLY IN THE GAME!

Hello everyone!

Just found out that the event log (like in Warband), which is thought to be missing since the EA release IS ACTUALLY PRESENT IN THE GAME! Yes, you can read and scroll ALL recent events on the map, including the ones which have gone and you haven't managed to read!

So, while on the campaign map, press Numpad Enter. The event log will appear in a left lower corner, in a small box, where you can scroll and read all recent events without fearing that the message will disappear. This is also works for the battle scenes, you can easily scroll and read the battle log too.

I've scrolled the Keyboard settings more than twice to find this key, but it seems that for some reason it is not shown in the Settings menu.

I hope I don't peddle stale news here for you, just wanted to share it with people, who didn't know about it)

Yep it's there but it resets very often. Don't know what causes this exactly but i'm sure it resets after conversations and visiting cities.

Yeah, its helpful, but its still too limited to be true event log, because it clears out whenever you change the scene. It also doesn't record the notifications that come up at the top of the screen

Yeah... that is NOT the real eventlog, it is missing, the real eventlog you should be able to go do a battle win in, and get back out on the campaign map, and still see all your dmg done during the battle, you can't do this (also it doesn't ahve to be numpad enter specifically, the normal enter beside all letters works the same way)

Ya, I found it around 200h of gameplay, but it resets whenever you enter a new setting like pressing done after a battle or entering in trade, etc.

Not a true log at all, and as much as I know it might sound weird, it is a lot more difficult to follow since it's cluttered in such a small text window.

I will check if this works, but ****. Wow. I hate how I cant keep track of events (they do a very very poor job of this. I will comment in suggestions now to fix it. I have a good idea).

Please, TaleWorlds, make a more permanent game log system, one that does not reset. Even if the game write the recent events into an external text file that I can read with notepad, I will be happy. I can't make plans to conquer the world if I don't have information.

I just found a way to make the game log NOT RESET. I went to a tavern in town. I hit enter and a circle with a sword appears. Click on that circle and say yes when it asks to include battle logs. After that the game log does not reset anymore.
