Just look at Mosul. It is a more accurate map of what Zengi would of owned. I can't find any maps that are around the Second Crusade.

Ok, no seljuk.. let's focus on zengi and Fatimid.. Give zengi the former territory of Edessa plus area around Aleppo (no Mosul)..

I think moving to 1200AD is a bad idea.. You will find it difficult to balance the game.. The Crusader states were to weakened.. They don't have any change against the muslims...  keep it right after the fall of Edessa..

Give the eastern part of the map to Emirate of Damascus..

Why? He was the Atabeg of Mosul. I never said move the date to 1200 A.D.  I used the map to give a more accurate show of what how much land was owned by the rulers of Mosul.

Yeah, that's a good idea. Keep the turks and byzantines as mercenaries, and add Zengi to Edessa.

Yeah, i know GK.. i just give response to Ryan expression about moving to 1200AD.. and the reason mosul must not in is because the map will be force to go eastward.. and i believe it will make a lot more problem and lose more detail on Levant..

Or, set the time frame to the rise of Nur Ad-Din (1146AD).. after the assassination of his father, Nur ad-Din and his older brother Saif ad-Din Ghazi I divided the kingdom amongst themselves, with Nur ad-Din governing Aleppo and Saif ad-Din Ghazi establishing himself in Mosul.. so we will not need to include Mosul and focus on levant and syria..

I like the crusade theme, but Assassin's Creed put it into my head that the city streets must be filled with people, and beggars harrassing you. Following beggars would make a funny adition
