The credit card thing again

I have read all the posts concerning this and am now experiencing the same deal. Gets to the verifying stage then says cannot accept card etc etc...
Now I use my card regularly online and have never had any problems before today.
I have never heard of this "visa electron" thing, but automatically assume that mine is visa electron friendly as it's being used constantly for worldwide purchases without a glitch.
Very annoying as I like the game and would like to continue playing.

Well i agree , the dev's should probably make visa electron useable to purchase....

Especially considering the amount of "Credit card not working" Threads.

Well it's not the dev who set the credit cards able to buy from esellerate... The problem is esellerate itself, which i think is not owned by the developpers, but is a platform that allows software programmers to sell licenses for their softs in a secure way, for probably an outrageous fee.

I'm afraid VISA Electron can't be used for internet transactions, at least that's what they told me at the bank. For that reason I've got another, 'internet only' card.

I am upset for have to get a credit card only for buy Mount&Blade. I will have very few use for it, and you know, there is taxes for having a credit card...

I don't know if your aware of this but banks and card companies will lock cards which see high use on internet or mail order purchases. Apparently its some kind of anti-fraud thing. Usually they stop the card from doing anything until you get in touch with the issuer to verify your identity. Just happened to my GF after she went on a shopping spree.
