The chance to ask

This threads don´t collect some feature that should be in the Game or would be cool, this threads collect Question, that could be use of an journalist that have the Oppertunity to interview a developer, because i have read a lot of Interviews with the exact same question. " What is Mount and Blade?" " What can you do in M&B "  <- Read the FAQ and you have the Information.

Usually this question are right, but you get the same inaccurate answser " medieval Open world Sandbox game " and " ... become king..", so a accurate question get maybe a accurate Answer, sure the awnser you can get may are not very satisfy, but you asked the right question.

I'd ask them what beer they like.
Everyone who's into games like M&B usually has a good taste as well.

Beer tastes like horse piss. I know . I tried. Horse piss that is.

It is still limited to appreciate the graphics from posted videos. How would you rate the graphics aspect of Bannerlord? Say, The Witchers 3 is 8/10 as a reference.

Given that there are minor and sub-factions and perma-death seems to be a feature, is it possible that a civil war breaks out without player instigation?

Also: since organized crime is something that the player can dabble with, will there be organized crime syndicates in the game? Or will the street gangs of different settlements just be procedurally generated? Can I become the supreme don of the Calradian mafia?

Based on Callum's post over on the devblog thread, it seems there just may be civil wars. In case you missed it he confirmed subfactions can rise to power and take over the faction, as well as switching faction sides. I suppose it's possible that they will only do so if controlled or invited by the player, but even if that's true, someone could probably mod it in for ai as long as it's already possible.

This gives me another question though. Will it be possible for ai lords to support a claimant? I.e., if the Swadian lords decided they got tired of Harlaus taking all the fiefs for himself and holding elaborate feasts while the countryside burns, could some of the lords ask the claimant (forgot the name) to lay claim to the throne?

I certainly hope that`s the case. I always thought WB didn`t really capture the chaos of medieval politics. Everyone is way to strongly affiliated with their existing state and monarch.

Will you rework the melee (animations) post launch if us warband veterans complain about it (thing we will surely do since it has been made by an ex NW casual) ?

Probably the most important & informative post of this whole thread.

Seriously it's one thing if they answered the ones they like, it's another thing for good questions to just go unawnsered.

I doubt such a change will be quite as easy this time around given BL uses motion capture and Inverse Kinematics for more advanced animations. Hopefully, it won’t be necessary - I liked the animations TW uploaded in videos.

Since no one asked yet I have to do the other obvious one

-Will there be a co-op campaign?
-If not how far did you get with it, and what turned out to be the deal breaker?

Also I have my own more original question I would love to have answered!

-Would it with the large maps technically be posible for an ambitious mod to create a 1 scene mini multiplayer campaign? With bots, recruitment, AI lords, Economy, Quest and everything.

What are your plans on non combat side of the game? (politics ingame, diplomacy, people with their own agendas, trading, improved diversity in the roles of people and culture, etc)

exactly. they are as important as the strategy/army management part.

Would i have any reason (other than mods) to play Warband after Bannerlord is released?

The same way that M&B basically became redundant after the release of Warband, as it did everything the previous did but better - is there anything i should be able to get in a Warband campaign or multiplayer that isn't improved or included in Bannerlord?

How effective will forts be?

I mean, in Warband, you can go all the way through enemy faction's capital passing near lots of castles and nothing happens. AI can troll you by besieging your capital town when you are fighting around border. There are lots of castles that would be waay more meaningful if there would more realistic fort-controlled area mechanism, like Jelbegi, Sungetche, most of Rhodok castles... But they can just pass near them with thousands of soldiers and nothing happens except "spotting" thing.

Does anyone know anything about it? It's so important, at least for me. Did they say anything about this problem?

Will places change names depending on who owns them?
For example, Praven(d) is given the Imperial name "Baravenos" in the Vlandia blog post, and Suno(r) seems to have become the Batavian town of Seonon in the Gamescom build.

Some Total War games have this feature.
If towns indeed change names with ownership, I hope it means that if they become part of the player faction you can rename them yourself.

the advent of the new skill/perk system has me wondering about the export/import feature from warband. Is it still possible to export characters files and edit attributes? Obviously editing characters is still possible but I wonder if it's still as simple as it was in Warband.
