The best texturing program

I want to make a texture to a sword and i can't find one.I tried adobe photoshop and brfedit but they suck if you know one?

No  :mad: ,Photoshop is the best Software ever made,its just that you dont know how to use it.

get some tutorials and start learning Photoshop  :!:

In seriously. I use both GIMP and Photoshop. For Unwrapping Wings3d or Blender.

Sorry, the adobe is the best , but i didnt't found a good texture that's why i said it sucked , but now that i did my joob I am very pleased

Photoshop is fine, but expensive. Gimp is not as good but still very powerful and it's free.

In the end it's not the program alone, it's your skills. Just like the saying about photos: There are photographers that make awesome pictures with the cheapest cameras. :smile:

I would recommend gimp (unless it doesn't hurt you to spend ~1000€ on photoshop).

Who said that you have to pay for photoshop.  :lol:
 
I'm working with an old version of Corel Photopaint (my mother bought it once)
and it works fine!

I think Photoshop is quite close to that  :roll:
All in all many programs do a pretty good job, when you know how to handle  :mrgreen:
 
Yes i have Adobe Photoshop CS3 and it works like a charm cuz i forgot something and it was like the wours program.
