Even if it was a clear shot: wtf, why the **** ban someone for just kicking someone? Wow. Speaking about retarded admins..
 
Wind is one of the admins that do give warnings and kick before banning. Zero must've been just zero to get banned.

I like how you left out the actual reason I banned you. I'm well known as only kicking/banning for intentionally breaking the rules, and always giving several verbal warnings and kick warnings. Please try to find a single complaint against me as admin from anyone, I'm sure you can't.

Here's the full story, Zero only included the beginning which isn't even the reason I banned him.

Map was ruins, I was an archer, had a clear shot lined up and zero kicked me. I told him not to kick friendlies, it doesn't do damage but can be especially disruptive to archers. I'll admit that at this point I was frustrated because it was a clear shot, as a result I warned him a little too harshly for my taste. But at the same time I still never kicked him for it, merely told him not to do it again. This should have been the end of the story.

Zero proceeded to attempt to taunt me into kicking or banning him, I ignored his taunts for the rest of the time that the map was on Ruins because honestly I don't care what you type in chat. I will never kick/ban someone for what they type.

Few rounds later, the map changes. Zero and robocop proceed to start kicking and punching each other trying to bait me into kicking them. I clearly type out in chat that I don't kick/ban friends screwing around and they are obviously friends. I give him fair warning though that if he intentionally team damages anyone I will kick him. Round later at spawn he comes up to me and proceeds to kick/punch me (I have no armor so this does damage). I admin kick him.

At this point he rejoins the server as Balion_Merc_Kicksalot. I give a verbal warning in all chat that if he team damages me again I will ban him. Next round starts, Zero ignores my warning and proceeds to team damage me again. True to my word I ban him. At this point Robocop headshots me with an xbow then promptly leaves the server.

I normally don't post on taleworlds, but I honestly can't stand someone trying to damage my good name as an admin. I've always attempted to be fair in my judgement, and in my several years as admin have probably given out maybe 10 bans total. None have ever been permanent. All of what I've written can be verified in the logs as well.

As a final note, I'm sure that given the atmosphere here I will be trolled. Just know that I'm not even going to respond to any troll posts. I always welcome honest and open criticism though.

Hey look, BB was right all along!

Also, posting logs would help your good name as an admin. I don't understand why logs aren't posted immediately on an unban thread in POM forums. There was a time someone asked repeatedly for the admins to post the logs, and Constantine said it was a "privilege" was was pretty ridiculous tbh.
 
I don't have access to the logs as I'm not a root admin, and Holgard is currently in the hospital or I would ask him for them.

Also I've actually already requested the logs for that day before I even saw this thread. I figured they would come in handy.
 
Ah, okay. I heard about what happened to Holgard, real bummer. You don't really need logs for this ban case, it was just a criticism of the handling of unban cases in general.
 
Yes I know, I have several witnesses who were on at the time as well who can testify to what I'm saying. My only regret is that I didn't fraps it, forgot to click F9. Video evidence is really the best evidence, because Warband's logs are really just awful.
