The art style is cartoony

I think the looks of the game are perfectly fine, too. They are not fantastic in my opinion, but they do not need to be. I have played Warband a lot because it is simply fun, not because it looks grand.

I do think some of the NPC faces do look a bit.. strange. Some of them look cool, others look like a bunch of simpletoms.. and others look like you better not let them out of your basement.

I think it looks just fine, if anything it keeps to the style they have been rolling with since the original M&B, no reason it needs to be a completely new system. As everyone else has pointed out already, the only reason you didn't expect this to be the way it was, is because you would have had to ignore every game footage since 2016.

The only problem for me is that all of the characters look the same.Thats my only problem.

Part of the problem is the random face generator is given a bit too much room to make people with disproportionate and freakish faces.

I'm not at all bothered by the graphical style - actually I abhor photorealism, I don't want my games to look too "real". If I wanted reality, I'd go outside. In the case of Bannerlord, they're convincing enough: they set proper boundaries for imagination to run alongside gameplay, but they don't do everything on my behalf.

Do you want realistic graphics with 50 man battles? It's generally quite obvious that a game like this cant have incredible next level graphics.

I'm assuming this guy hasn't played warband or is a troll
Graphics are not everything in a game look at warband and its a brilliant game even today and doesn't have great graphics compared to newer titles but then look at games like anthem they have really good graphics but are horrific in every other aspect. In my opinion the graphics are good games like these that have large battles don't have insanly good graphics as most consumers don't play on monster rigs

You literally can see how the game looks like in 2016. Don't talk like they lied to you lol

Why are you even using an art image as a reference to what a game looks like? That makes no sense.

And we can also see how the game had a much better character creator 4 years ago then it does now, what happened..?

Some of the tings might be coming later, forinstance imagine if they let the weight of you char influence how weapon dmg works, maybe thats why its not in the char creator atm. it could also just be clipping iissues, making armor work on a slight and a fat frame can take alot of work, I do think we will get a more advanced creator later.

We talked about this during the beta but as I can see they decided to do nothing about it.
I suggested to avoid this cartoonish style but even more I asked for more variety of traits and haircuts.

I dont think it looks cartoonish, it looks realistic to me, as much as it can for the engine. Also, no one was designing the characters, they are randomly named and generated in each new playthrough (except lords, who are named and designed). I like this as it diversifies each game even by a little bit
Didn't know they are randomly generated with each playthrough. That is awesome, that would make it even more fun to start new games. Good thing they kept lords the same, otherwise you might not recognize your arch enemy from a previous 'incarnation' to rain down vengeance on him
