The 68th Durham Light Infantry [EU/NA] Is Recruiting!

The 68th DLI is a Light Infantry unit, which not only focuses on closed order combat, but also in open and skirmish formations. We are a highly disciplined regiment, born out of the now disbanded 47th Regiment of Foot, one of the most skilled and disciplined regiments in both BattleGrounds II and Napoleonic Wars.

With 51st and 47th as role models, the 68th promotes a disciplined and organized fighting style, with intensive weekly trainings and both public and inter-clan events.

Only thing I can say is that Lieutenant is higher than Ensign mate. Ensigns were usually young boys with rich fathers. ^^

Oh I know, I know. Thing is, even though the Ensign and Serjeant Major ranks are below Lieutenant, in 68th the Ens. and CSM serve directly under the Captain in the High Command, and do not take direct orders from Lieutenants. The Lt.s are to be platoon leaders, who give orders to Serjeants and below.

Besides, the Ensign is the flag bearer and the Serjeant Major is the sapper... They are not in the common rank and file structure, not carrying muskets in battle. Specialists, of sorts.
