Introduction
Welcome to the 3°Caçadores, otherwise known as the 3rd Cazadores or "Wellington's Fighting Cocks" (not to be takent the wrong way ... if get what i mean
). This is a Light Infantry/Skirmisher Regiment
(Battalion actually) that serves under the Portuguese Flag. My goal is for it to be as much historically accurate as possible (that's why i said "the regiment serves under the Portuguese flag", if for any
reason you would get offended by that, please don't ), and that's why as soon as i can, i'll divide it into a few companies, (the one with the highest priority will be the "atiradores" one). Hope you like this thread !

The Regiment's History
Creation
The "Companhia de Caçadores Voluntários Reais de Monte de Vila Real" ( Monte de Vila Real Royal Voluntary Cazadores Company ) was raised in 1801 by the Colonel Manuel Inácio Pamplona Corte-Real, disbanded, and reorganised by Francisco da Silveira Pinto da Fonseca (that would later become Count of Amarante) after the 6th of June 1808 proclamation that incited the revolution against French occupation. The Captain António Pereira Vahia was chosen to command. In the 28th of October 1808 reorganisation, it was incorrporated in the Portuguese army and given the Designation "Batalhão de Caçadores n° 3" (3rd Cazadores Battalion).
During the Pininsular War ( 1808 - 1824 ), the 3rd Cazadores saw actions in various battles, for exemple :

About The Regiment :
Information
The regiment will be focused principally on shooting and discipline; since Portugal isn't a faction in Mount&Blade Napoleonic Wars, we will be playing most of the time as United Kingdom
and using 95th rifles unit.
