SP Fantasy Thalania (RELEASED for .960) (Updated 22/08, see bottom)

Hi, i hope im in the good forum. Yesterday i tried the Thalania mod and foud it very interesting, no horse, new map etc ... until i do a tournament in a town. Knowing that horse stuff is disable means probably that you have no bonus to damage when you ride a horse in the arena. My question is what do we do if we start the fight with a jousting pole ? I try to knock them with no success, having 0 damage all the time .. means that i cannot do any tournament unless i have no jousting lance by luck .. Is it me or somebody else eperience the same thing ?  By the way, this is a great game and found it very interesting that people are devlopping mod and improvement to this great game !!!

Already done.  I want to do a bit more before I release a new version, so if there are any more bugs to fix, any requests etc, please post them.
 
Shameless bump again, I really need to see if there are any more bugs/problems with this before I release 0.5 (I think it's done, but I want to be sure).
 
One thing I get is a few missing item errors when I edit the Troops file with the Troop Editor, The last Item that shows up on the list is item 425, Though looking in the item_kinds file, there's actually meant to be 445, though ingame the troops still get the items from 425 onwards (At least, I think, as I'm sure I've seen troops with the Rune Axe which is item 434) , I thought it might have been something withthe Troop Editor itself, but, using it on another mod, with twice the items that Thalania has, I get no errors.

It probably doesn't have any impact on gameplay but just thought you might want to be aware of it.
 
I do know about that, I had to edit the troops.txt file manually after using the editor.  It's not that big a problem, really, as using the troop editor is hardly a requisite for playing the mod.

0.5 is coming out on Sunday, and the next release after that won't be for a long while.

First post updated, including details of changes in this version.

There's a problem with using Mirathei's Battle Formations, for some reason - I'll have to work on that for the 0.6 or 0.7 version.
 
I'm desperately trying to get Mirathei's scripts to work, but for some reason it keeps cocking up during play.  Aside from that, everything else is done.
 
Nobody else seems to have mentioned this, but the heirs still think they're in native - I've only tried kastor of swenzan so far, but he seems to think he's a rhodok and is fighting graveth, although my character said devonia and grief olav.

edit: Just spoke to Shalasar, he seems to think he's Dustum Khan. I guess all the heirs are confused.
 
no horses????? shame i love waiting till the last minute when being charged at by a horseman and sinking my axe into the horses chest but i guess i'll make do with infantry lol  :smile:
