Ok Guys,  If you enjoyed my mace pack and are a texture artist how about trying this one to help me out.  Just use one of the in game armors/costume models as the basis.  You may recognize his mace.   This is a Seljuk mercenary ....... I have a pattern that can be colorized that has been taken from a surviving anatolian garment dating to the same period.  Let me know if you want to attempt and i will send the initial fabric texture.  I have some ideas for a whole host of items for a Seljuk Mod (Using the Kerghits as a basis)....

Hey, Gluck.

I'm not sure I understand entirely what you need, but I probably can help.

Did you model the outfit in the picture and now you need it textured? Is that it?
If you did, may I please have the UVW map or the model (preferably) to create the texture?

If you agree, please send me the pattern reference you've mentioned, ok?

Cheers,
-Stefano

Stefano, i have not developed a model.  I figured you could use one of the ingame armor models and create a texture for it.  I am including the historical textures created from fabrics dating to around the 13th century or so.... I am posting them here.  I created them by using the texturize plugin for Gimp.  If you can help that would be great...

Here are the patterns.  I have not imbedded them in the post because they are 500kb each...

that's pretty easy to do (easier than modeling a mace). Get BRF editor from MBrepository, find an armor model that you think would work well, find its texture, and edit that.

If you are a modeller, you'll have to learn decent texturing sooner or later. This is not really advanced texturing what you try to do, so it would be good to start with. I suggest you to search for a white costume, create a new layer with your pattern and use the multiply option. Play around with the opacity a little bit and that's about it.

I apologize for locking this thread but i had a long day in bad weather at work and i was worried it was getting off the point.  I appreciate the advice on texturing, i really do, however when you have a family and career you have to make some choices.  In this case i choose to spend time adding Items and such and to leave the quality texturing to individuals who are talented in that area.

I have now unlocked it.

Thanks again,

Gluck
