Text as text (not pictures)

With texture resolution set low and a low screen resolution, it becomes very difficult to read some of the text. But the fps counter is just fine. I assume this is because most game text is a picture, while the fps counter is just in normal text?

If this is so, could I suggest at least on option to show all text in this way?
