I 'm new but have few issued to discuss

terrain is very nice but it lacks more wood regions - even now in modern world europe has about 20% wood density
any pre-industrial age should have even much more
sometimes it would be nice and funny to have an option to sneak or to make ambushes not only be reliable on pure speed

More wood would be nice, but you talked about Europe and I don't think it should be based on it. Calradia is is a made up world and thats what I like about it ,and a lot of other things to!

I know it is full fiction
it was only example
in mixed map (river , mountines ) there should be more woods

Using wood for tacitcs like hills and water can be used would be nice. Currently there isnt really enough wood to hide from archers in. Might be a nifty tactical feature

to be understood well
I don't mind generated combat map as it is even too much diverse but main map when you travel

How about a proper correspondence between generated map and main map accompanied with certain bonuses?

That way, you don't want to be caught in a forest by forest bandits or you can head towards a river/mountain to get better tactical odds against a cav heavy enemy.

All have been suggested in the SUGGESTIONS forum:

* more diverse World Map terrain needed - woods, desert, swamps, grasslands, roads, hills, etc.

*World Map should be reflected on battlemap: a fight in the woods on the World Map should be represented on the battlemap by a forested combat area. And so on.

Much more has also been suggested there.

As much as I love M&B's combat, I do wish that there was more practical effect on the battle due to factors like terrain and fatigue.

We never can ambush anyone. We get little or no protection from position our selves behind a boulder. We can't do a pre-battle deployment so that archers have a good field of fire. Nobody ever gets tired - a heavily armored hero can run just as long as a near-naked river pirate, warhorses can charge indefinitely.

Sorry, that's beside your topic.

Anyway, I agree we need more forests - among other stuff.
