Is this intended? I like keeping factions and extending the game but this may limit players from stopping opposing factions from snowballing if they get peace blocked.

Same for me long long times of peace and towns still broke. quickly running out of money as workshops and three caravans don't do much. only found two spice girls and had to send out one with low trade and he is doing very well.
I had a play threw where I went back to square one .. kicked out all my troops and companions and earned some money and slowly rebuild my army. then said . heck with this and restarted. and its heading back the same way. I smelt all the weapons and sell the ore. I have no idea how to make money to keep my head above water.

Simple fix is to become a master blacksmith and sell your works for crazy amounts but that takes some time. Trading is a okay way to make money but looters are the only other way to make a dime and honestly there aren't enough to go around between every quest. I have been taking to not promoting every troop but it really makes it hard to organize when you get more fiefs.

Also I get why this was moved to Balancing but it was more a question. Like is this intended, judging by it getting moved I assume it was not intended.

Doesn't that mean how much tribute you are getting? I've seen that in the negatives when my faction has been paying another.

Shoot you may be right. I honestly thought the denars would have been labeled as gold like they usually have done for bannerlord. It's not the tribute you get personally but the kingdom gets as a whole. Can anyone confirm?

Selling the weapon just breaks the towns. Some towns just have 3 denars to their names. If the town would not reproduce the one sword I make into 20 might be better for game. less stuff.
