Name: Yumi, the Empress of Jade and the Forgotten Kingdom.
(Using the Perisno Mod and its world as the setting. Go Perisno!)

She stood there. Alone. Foreign winds blew past her ashy face. Her silken, black locks brushing past her stained cheeks. The sky was dark, darker than usual. The strange and awkward feeling of breathing in new air chilled her, the singed hairs on her arms standing on end. The smell of smoke and sea water bashing against bamboo and burning wood resonated from the the creaking destruction of her ill-fated vessel. Its masts splashed against the roaring tide, a loud thunderous creak echoing through the empty area signifying the complete end to the lone survivor of the wreck. Not to her physical form, but to her story. Her legend.

Carrying nothing more than the ragged cloths on her body, the Jade Empress looked on from a grassy hill at the last barge of her previous life being washed away by the violent high tide. Blood stained the ground. Of enemies and allies. A fight. A battle. A betrayal. A trickle of blood slowly added on to the crimson tides. Holding her side, the woman stood unfazed by her near fatal injury. Her mind too lost in what occurred to her.

Forced on the run by those seeking power, the Jade Empress fled. Standing here on foreign soil, she thought on her origin. Beyond the blue waves, on this fresh, green land stands a kingdom shrouded by the most emerald of trees. Standing like colossal towers that decorated the sky and land with their natural flora. The scents of fruits and berries, not just ones originating from its lands but also from those who traveled far and wide for the fabled grounds of land surrounded by water and the most fertile soil, filled the lively atmosphere. The kingdom of Jade the legends called it. Many mistake it for a land made of precious gems and stones, but its most abundant treasure lies in its natural grace. However, these people are not far from the truth. In the heart of Floran lies within the high grand walls of Kriagaram, the ancient halls of the ancient ruling family. The founders of this mystical land. They ruled from its start, but not to its end. As it would seem. For the rightful heir of the kingdom of Jade stood isolated on a green plain bordering the harsh seas from whence she has fled.

"Gone. Vanishing like a wandering spirit... It is all but lost." Only her frail words broke the ambience of her surroundings. With her arm on her side, she decided her fate. It would be just another body among the piles of corpses which the waves brushed upon. Cold steel brushed past her lousy dressing. A scrape of metal over rough fabric, an unnatural sound in a peaceful locale. A small cutting blade was gripped by her shaking hand, a small tear dropping upon its rusted surface. She then lifted her blade, its tip pointing to her beating chest. The end of a legend met by a knife used to peel the skin of fruits. She shut her eyes, both hands gripping its small leather handle. Then a cry. A shout. A hand reaching out to snap the hero back in place.

Turning from the lands of her forefathers and the ruins of her former glory, a strange sight was played out just beyond the horizon. A golden gleam dancing roughly with fabrics of crimson raced across the plain. A rather short, stout man rode a strange horned beast, riding in a panic. Running. The mount's light galloping was later clouded by a thunder of hooves. A laughing yell came behind the direction of the short man. A company of metal-clad men riding steel horse chased after the frightened duo of mount and rider. A man wearing a somewhat overly decorated helm led the charge, followed by riders wearing black helms and wielding frightening weapons of long, red hilts. The Empress looked upon the tragic scene that was about to unfold. Her expressionless face twitched. Her lips curved slightly, her pearl white teeth being shown from her small grin. Straightening her body, she threw off a piece of cloth that was wrapped around her neck which hid most of her clothed body. A built, lean physique which was somewhat thinner than usual was shown as the parchment hit the grassy floor. Wielding only the rusty knife, she readied herself as the armored fanatics stopped their demonic horses and headed for her direction.

The stout man looked back and stopped, a look of horror and dismay on his face as he saw the band of Demon Worshipers charge for what seemed to be a lowly woman who only had a small knife on her person. The Kaikoth rider galloped in a small circle, uncertain on what to do. He was eager to return to his lands of stony mountains and hills, but letting a woman be struck down so maliciously was a thing he could not just stand and watch. Stranger things have washed up on the shores of Perisno, but from what this small man has seen so far in his numerous mortal years, this must be the strangest of them all. The woman readied herself. Her left foot stepped back and her body leaned forward, the small blade dangling at her side. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. The moment she would open them, a whole new world would open up to her and her past life would be forever behind her. With the galloping closing in, she opened her piercing black eyes. The Jade Empress has arrived at Perisno.

I hope you enjoyed the back story of my character who resides in the lands of Perisno! Sorry if it's not up to par with some of the other stories on here, but I did try my best to make this story as detailed as possible. I was inspired by how the LOTR series was written, so if you see any parts where I try to be all mystical and such, that was me trying to imitate Tolkien's style of storytelling. I really hope you all like this story!

Native Warband- Baron Mateus is a foreign noble exiled from his land. He begins by serving the Rhodok Laruqen family, eventually becoming a vassal of the Rhodok republic. He now serves as commander of the Grunwalder infantry regiment. Mateus achieved victories in the weyyah war against the Sarranids, ending in a truce where weyyah castle was added to the territory of the Rhodok republic. Currently the republic is enjoying a prosperous peace, which has allowed Mateus to mend the relations of Rhodok lords, strengthening the unity of the republic. Mateus has also made close relations with the Nords who will be a worthy ally in the inevitable wars to come against Swadia.
Update- War with the Sarranids has broken out again! Sultan Hakim was eager to retake Weyyah castle and if the momentum was on the right side, add Reindi castle to the Sarranid territories. The Rhodok and Sarranid campaigns clashed early around Weyyah, with the Rhodok companies quickly dispersed. It seemed The Sarranids would easily retake Weyyah Castle, easily outnumbering the garrison by 4 to 1. But the Gods clearly smiled upon the Rhodoks as by some miracle the Sarranid siege was repelled. Baron Mateus led the defence with distinction and went on to rescue Count Laruqen around Reindi castle from the rest of the Sarranid forces. Suddenly the Rhodoks had the advantage and took to the offensive, besieging Shariz (The bloody capital of the Sarranids!) and capturing it comfortably. King Graveth pushed for peace, much to the dissatisfaction of the campaigning Rhodok Counts. Baron Mateus was rewarded generously for his service, by recieving 3 villages. Thus, the Second Weyyah War had come to an end.

A clash of Kings (mod)- Captain Sandor Go'rek was once a member of a mercenary company that perished in the service of Stannis Baratheon in a battle against his brother Renly. Since then Sandor had been rebuilding the mercenary company, this time as its captain. Sandor found a lot of work hunting outlaws in the deserts of Dorne. His leadership and battle prowess caught the eye of Prince Oberyn Martell, who accepted him as a vassal of Dorne. Since then, Sandor has taken part in campaigns against the westerlands, Norvos and Volantis defeating many enemies without any defeats so far.

With fire & sword- Aleksander Górecki of the Dołęga coat of arms was a Rotmistrz in a Polish cavalry company, leading a Rota of light cavalry. Fighting viciously to retake the lands held by Sweden during the deluge, Aleksander was wounded during the recapture of Warszawa and was relocated south to recuperate. Being promoted to chorąży, aleksander went on to fight against the Cossacks, but tried to use diplomacy where possible, due to his friendship with Cossacks including the registered ones in his company. Presently his company is preparing for battle against the Muscovites.

Korva is a undying legend, some say he grew up with the northern wolves that taught him his tactics and tracking.
Others say he grew up with bears, and that they granted him his amazing power, ironflesh, and possibly his combat abilities.
But I believe we all can agree... Korva isn't fully human or "there".

Korva is 2 people together, the first is a very charismatic leader who most of the time has persuasion skills even the kings can't hold their ground. The second...is where the legends come from. Who he is in battle. If you ever meet Korva in battle, you can't run if he has his eyes set on you. If you try to fight he will destroy you in less than a second with his greatsword; If you run he will shoot you in the back of the head. He is deadly in two handed arms and archery, there is no escape, you better pray the last guy was the last arrow...or that his horse is wounded. No one knows his true backstory, not even his close companions. Unless were a fellow named Marnid, then you will never know his story.

Though he has a certain pattern when he rises from where ever he is, his span is quick, and many die in the process. His Noble friends are quite happy with his rule, many flock to him when he starts. He will slowly gain land as a vassal of a kingdom, usually a kingdom of honorable nobles. He likes to gain his pack in advance, for some time he will rise in power, gaining a village, a castle, and maybe a town or 2, he will be a gift from the gods to the king. But something happens, something always happens, he gains interest in something different, but never take a break, battles are his vacation, democracy is his work. Let me tell you the first story on him. It was a claimant to a kingdom, he had been a previous vassal to another kingdom full of snakes and vipers, who'd turn on you in a second. He decided to "fix" them, so he followed a claimant to the kingdom, he was a one man army, taking castles daily, gaining volunteers from the prisoners he found. Destroying all the vassals in the process, he took the whole kingdom, the amazing part was, no one joined him in the rebellion, 1 v 16, and he won, now it took a month to do so, but he could've easily done it in a week if not for the fact another kingdom of the Arabic culture, they declared war on his rebellion, he crushed them. Not fully, but a good bite was taken out of their lands, but back to his rebellion, he did win, many disbanded, and many joined him and his cause. But I guess his lust for justice came back, he saw the land was broken; In just a week after he held the rebellion, he purposely asked for a castle that he did not care about, it was even on the far side of his fiefs. When he was denied, he renounced his oath to his liege, the claimant he fought with, he left the new kingdom, taking his earned fiefs with him. His claimant was smart, he left him alone... well, there were a battle or two, but peace came quickly. He gained vassals quite fast, mainly those with a good reputation, those who think of everyone and usually ignoring their own wants. Those are the people that came out of his rule, with power and happiness.
He will wait, Korva when he builds his Kingdom, isn't very aggressive. Until you poke him with a war letter and then you better ask for peace quickly or you will be swallowed in his rule- like the bear. He has taken whole kingdoms in just days with martial summons.
While he is a warmonger, like I said, he is a very powerful politician, usually fighting for the people and his vassals instead of himself.
He keeps his vassals happy with their fiefs, no one is felt a injustice unless it is for a reason.
But of course, kingdoms will keep thinking they will win, but they always regret it soon. He took a whole continent in a year, would have been shorter if he hadn't been swarmed with sadistic, benevolent nobles.
Now the mysterious part comes in, when that happens, when he rules the land with no one to dispute him. He goes into retirement, for a couple years. Sells his equipment, settles with his wife, and if you see him, he is very happy, and his battle side disappears. He held feasts monthly, laughing and chatting with his companions and vassals, everyone had a good time and the kingdom is very stable and happy. Until he left; No word of warning, nothing, one day Korva is there, the next, he isn't. The kingdom was lost for some time, til his grieving wife found a letter, saying who the next king was to be, after that, the new king erected a statue in his honor, across all the towns, but they never find Korva. Not even a legend or rumor as to what happened, it's like he was erased from existence, many assumed that the power hungry nobles he fought banded together, but that isn't what happened, he could've destroyed them all with that. It is as if he has a short lifespan, and a short time to stabilize the lands before he dies, but he never dies, it's a curse to him, he just leaves, he cannot be killed, age does not affect him, he will live till the gods say his work is finished.

But, that is all that is known about Korva, and all that I know about him. Sadly, I must go, I think I hear a kingdom that needs fixing......
