Ok, something odd. Don't know if this is common knowledge but you can teleport in the world map. When you hold down space and ctrl the game time speeds up. If you click a place on the map while the game is faster then you will not travel quickly but instentaniously travel to that point. Got one of those hunt the raider, missions on the other side of the map? Scroll over to that part of the map. And quickly press ctrl+space and click on the location. Boom your there.
