Tech Q. about Suround Sound

O, I got new comp with Suround Sound System, about like 1 month ago.

So can someone help me?

Its work in Windows Player, and thats about it.

I cannot play it Wimdows Media Center (TV thing)..
In dont work in most of games, like FEAR demo or GW.

And it works in Arcanum (Yeaaaa , old game but works)

So any one know whats is wrong with it?

Can you give a more detailed explanation?

Of what does this system comprise? A coupla speakers? Have you relocated them to give the optimum "surround" environment to your seat?

Does the issue perhaps lie with other programs' unwillingness to move away from the familiarity of stereo? EAX (I don't really know what I'm talking about ) problems?

i am pretty sure M&B works in sterio but i am not so sure that it work on my 5.1 surround sound. I havent really tested yet.
