i hired the chancellor... well basically All staff... so what more do i need to do, all my villages and cities are set to normal tax rates

I have quite many feifs and I believe it increases by the ammount of feifs and is dependent of your faction politics and culture

Do you or anyone know what to change in your kingdom settings to help it?

Head to the Domestic Policy settings, centralise your economy and change other settings to reduce tax inefficency

How do you centralize your economy?

and centralize Everything or somethingin particular?

centralizing administration decreases tax inefficiency and plotucratizing society increases trade tariffs, but both let your lords like you less each month.
