My 18th birthday is approaching and the first two things I'm going to do is get a tattoo and go skydive. My tattoo is going to be on my left arm from my shoulder down to where my arm sleeve will end, and it'll be a Marshmallow Tree. I would like to get an image of what I want and show it to the tat artist instead of just explaining, where we can make adjustments after if we need to. I've already started designing it but thought I would ask you guys for some help, so if you're bored and good with graphics and would like to help me get some ideas, I would greatly appreciate it

Here's what I would like.

a dead tree, pretty symmetrical but not perfect.
(found on google images with keywords 'gothic tree'

for the marshmallows, think of a cherry blossoms flowers in a painting but darker, sparser and of course with marshmallows instead with instead of flowers

I really like this picture ^ and I think I would like the marshmallows to be pretty obvious like this

if you need me to explain more feel free to ask, I typed this up in a hurry and will be back this afternoon. Also if this is in the wrong place I'll be happy to move it, but I'm short on time at the moment. Thanks!

You seriously hadn't managed to work out for yourself that marshmallows don't grow on trees by the age of 16?

Nope, like the story said, I didn't find out until we read about their production in factories during an ACT practice. I was 15 and I didn't exactly sit down and think about it constantly, it was just what I grew up with. It sounds funny when you know the truth, but like most things related to your upbringing, you simply believe it until you're faced with a different side ( i.e a class of 31 telling me I was dumb )

I've yet to see a tattoo that looked better than the bare skin.
Not saying tattoos necessarily look bad, I just don't see the aesthetic improvement.

So you should get the smallest one that can be covered with clothing. I'm such a big help [= douchebag], I know...

That is a very silly and pointless post, Adorno.

Suriell: That's a pretty funny story and certainly not a bad idea for a tattoo I find. Though in your shoes I personally wouldn't get such a big tattoo of it. Rather something small, maybe somewhere on the torso. Something I'd be more likely to have to talk about with people once we were closer or intimate.
