I think you may be right. While I'm fully in favor of bringing catgirls into the world, Revan doesn't seem to have any interest in actually contributing anything here.

A lot of people in this thread completely misses the point. The idea is not, and never was, to recreate a TES game, but to rather make a M&B mod, with the same game mechanics, but with the lore of TES. Starting out with the basics; map, cities, factions. It's basically where every other mod on this forum start out.

Surprising, I would never have thought that posting a thread in the Mount & Blade Modding forum would actually talk about an M&B mod, rather than recreating a new game.

Anyway, as for Revan Shan: why can you not acknowledge what Dain is trying to stamp down your ear into your brain with his dwarven boot ? This idea is no different to any other mod suggestion. You may like it, and have posted it, but it's JUST an idea thread. And like all idea threads, it's all great and wonderful for you to come up with something. You know, if I felt as pompous and as high on my horse as you, I could post a two page-long description of a world I created and want modded in M&B. I'm sure I might just get complimented on the writing, but it wouldn't get me any closer to creating a mod.

Unless you're able to participate in the MAKING of this mod and/or can present with a base, a start to your work, this is NO DIFFERENT to ANY OTHER suggestion. And as you can see, simple suggestions are not usually welcomed.

Think of it like an expedition. Unless your idea is so utterly transcendent that it'll sublimely transfix us all in a perpetual state of admiration, we aren't gonna come of our free will because YOU want to. People would either want to be paid, or something else. Unless you're gonna be an uppity bastard-git and pay people, just shut it.

The dwarf may be violent and vulgar, he's utterly right. How can you not understand and even IGNORE what Dain is telling you ? That this is no different to any other suggestion thread ? Please, stop it ...

I rest my case; as if somehow this idea gives the idea that you want to create a TES game. This will not be even close to a TES game and is not meant to be, it will just use TES lore as its backdrop. I.e. Tamriel. Some people just don't get that in this thread. The above reply is almost as horrible as the one related to dungeon crawling.

If less people in this thread had carrots up their arse we might have actually seen some interest in this idea, or it would have faded to the second page by now. Instead we have people like Munx who give single word replies to bump the thread, to state just how bad it is.

If you don't see why my post was logical you need help. I KNOW he doesn't want to recreate it. But NO ONE HERE WILL MAKE A TES GAME OR TES RELATED GAME.

Thus he should wait for TES V.
