TaleWorlds - take care of your customers

Users who are viewing this thread

I have a legit Warband key, but I get "Activation Denied" whenever I try to activate the game.

I sent you emails multiple times, and it's been 4 days since my original email - and no response.

This is no way to treat someone who gave you their money.

If you purchased the game through the Taleworlds website, phone Avangate. If you purchased it through Steam, call their support line.

The serial worked in the past, and i don't see how it has anything to do with the payment provider.

According to your logic, if I buy a computer with my credit card, and the computer doesn't work, I should call MasterCard.  Come on.

The serial isn't proof of purchase, I'ts pretty easy to get them illegally (I'm not implying you did this). An email confirmation or photocopied receipt would be best. I'll bet its frustrating, but remember you'll get farther with a polite attitude when emailing them :)

I just thought it might help, a proven paying customer might give it higher priority, I dunno. It does suck that it has been so long though....sorry

If you've used the same serial key too many times, it may not work anymore. At least that's how it was years ago. May have changed since then. Since you're not willing to phone the payment company, I doubt you'll get a fix. Avangate does provide refunds, I know that much. Not sure about Steam.

The serial will be invalid if you have used more than 5? (someone correct me if I'm wrong) times. Phoning the company should work with valid proof of purchase.

No, I think you would need to wait for the 30 days to run out before trying to install again, if this is indeed the problem you are having. I thought that we were able to install twice in 30 days though.

Hmm...

This is some BS.

I remember I bought Warband & paid $29.99, because I actually plaid it multilayer for a while. I also know this is true, because I bought Just M&B for like $10 some time ago.

I downloaded M&B and tried my Warband key with it - and it worked!

I read through my purchase receipt, and it state - $29.99 Mount & Blade 1.101

If I go to TaleWorlds website and go to "Purchase Warband", I'm taken to avantage page, where it says

$29.99 Mount&Blade Warband - 1.101

So, same version, but different name?

I don't get it - did they change my Warband key back to normal M&B?

Or did I actually purchase M&B key originally? (but then how could I have played multiplayer???)

That's very strange, I just went to the same site myself to check it and it does indeed say 1.101. I don't remember there ever being a version 1.101 of Warband, and if there was one, why would it be downloadable now (rather than 1.131, the latest version). Have you tried PM'ing Armagan himself about this? I'm sorry if that's no help, I can't think what else to suggest.

The original M&B is in version 1.011, quite similar to Warband's 1.101 there for a while. You just read the numbers wrong.

Also, I don't think that the serial keys are interchangeable.
