AI in Arma 3 can adapt
When you drop a destoryed wreckage of a tank on the middle of the road, they will attempt to go around it, or take cover behind it to hide from bullets.
They automatically set up positions and take cover, scanning for hostiles.
No need for predefined waypoints or paths, all the AI is being done on the AI itself, and this results in one of the best AI that gaming has seem for first person shooters.
But captain mode and the 1000 man battles I see, its sad to see that the AI still need waypoints and paths manually placed on the map tomake them look smart.
