Maybe every community has parachuting smartasses that tell people to chill without understanding why and how much are they upset. Just so they'll appear smarter and cooler. There's one like that every week, this week it's you.
I understand how upset you are. I've been you. I completely raged over Modern Warfare 2, with its console style lobbies, lack of server support, and elimination of Punkbuster. Fifty bucks and I'm stuck in 4 v 4 games full of hackers? FFS, MW1 had private servers with 50 v 50 games, 25 excellent custom maps on rotation, Punkbuster, and active moderation. How can MW2 be such a huge step backwards? They blatantly prioritized console style play over PC gaming and it pissed me off. PC gamers made the franchise! Where was the loyalty?

But I got over it. I stepped back and contemplated whether my legitimate disappointment with the game merited such a strong response. I decided that my howling rage on the forums was maybe a bit much. I still didn't like their decisions, but they weren't going to change them so they went their way and I went mine. I still play MW1 now and again, but haven't spent a nickel on a CoD game in over a decade and I doubt I ever will again.

Maybe they'll fix Bannerlord to your expectations. Maybe they'll just get it stable and functional and then modders will lift it to it's full potential. Maybe it'll be a bit of both. And maybe this is just a big missed opportunity and it always will be. That's still no reason to assume negligence on the part of the developers, much less malicious intent.

Take a breath. Take a break. You've probably got another 300 games on Steam. Go play one of those. Come back in 6 months and see how things are going with Bannerlord.

I've got over a hundred hours into the game and I think I paid $30 for it.

When did this start?
I mean when did we start comparing money with time we had fun in a certain game?

It feels like its today completely even if the game is good or not, at least there are everytime ppl saying "i got my fun out of it for a good price and now i move on", is this something exclusive american?

Aye, totally got my money's worth. A hundred hours for $40, it automatically means that I supremely enjoyed all those hours. Not to mention that I got 1 and a half thousand hours out of $20 for Warband, not including the $15 and the $10 for VC and NW, and I paid about as much for Bannerlord, for a 1/15th of the time, and a 1/10th of the enjoyment. I totally got my money's worth. I love grinding for dozens of hours on end. I'm sure people put in a hundred hours in Cyberbug too, which means it's a fantastic game and fully worth $60, no doubt.

So many trolls and baiters in gaming forums recently. They even needed to clean up the paradox interactive forums as developers were being viciously bombarded

If someone says "I got my fun out of it for a good price and I'm moving on" the implication is that they thought it was good, even if you didn't. I tend to make up my mind about a game within about 20 minutes. By the end of the first hour I've decided that it's worth a lot more time or I've returned it.

Why, how do non-Americans judge video game purchases?

Ah, yes. We must silence the opposition, I see. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Saddam called you. They're offering you esteemed positions in their Ministries of Internal Defense.

If you're sinking 100+hours into a game that you don't enjoy then you're kind of an idiot.

There have been massive amounts of both. Truth is, it's an internet forum. Do you really expect there to be absolutely no trolling going on? The apologists love to conflate constructive criticism and trolling as one and the same, in order to discredit all criticism. Sure, I wished there was less trolling, but I do still think much of the community is far better than other internet and gaming communities. You're always going to have some manner of toxicity, unfortunately. The apologists also fail to point out that much of their own are trolling and baiting all the time. Some of the most toxic people on these forums are the ones constantly defending Bannerlord and TW, while calling everyone else stupid and lifeless losers for suggesting differently than the idea that Bannerlord is an absolute gem of design and vision.

Woah there sailor. M&B is something I'm very passionate about and I waited seven years for this game to come out. I believe I'll put in more than a couple of hours when it was something I waited that long for. Bannerlord is a huge scope of a game that takes many hours to fully experience and realize the design and opportunities inside. Plus, many of the most vocal critics of this game have put far more time in Bannerlord than I have, but okay, deal with the "toxicity" with the "fight fire with fire" approach.

lol, he never experienced toxic behaviour from the community? maybe he got lucky and just never touched PW mod xD
Multiplayer is definitely toxic with various degrees of it overtime but this is true to basically all competitive multiplayer games, there is no escaping it.

I've been here since 2008 i think and this is the first time i've seen the singleplayer community of M&B so upset in general about the state of the game in these last few months, maybe when Viking Conquest released quite buggy and lacking was another time but that was quickly solved by the reforged edition that showed they listened to the community complaints and addressed them and everyone was mostly chill again just enjoying the game and sharing cool things.

I believe OP was talking about the singleplayer community.

No, you don't have the slightest idea, you are just guessing so you could be condescending. The reality is different, but it takes an effort to find out and this is just lazy condescension.

There are plenty of things people enjoy at the time, but regret or retroactively dislike in all forms of life. Relationships, films, tv shows etc. This statement is inherently wrong and illogical, and it's perfectly possible to sink hundreds of hours into an activity then regret it in retrospect or under greater scrutiny.

Yeah I used to be very angry about Bannerlord mp, I still lurk on the forums and occasionally make troll posts but mostly stepped back and don't play. I do still play warband a bit but I used to have 10-20 hours in warband mp every week. Now I play about 5 hours of warband a week still doing some comp stuff that's it.

I totally agree with this post. While PW has been toxic as hell (and I've contributed to said toxicity quite a bit, both on the NA and EU sides), all competitive multiplayer games do. Sometimes it doesn't get as bad as PW, with the ddosing and doxxing, but all in all, its par for the course and to be expected. Viking Conquest I do remember being angry about, alongside many others, but when they fixed it, everyone was happy. The end. It was that simple. IDK why the devs cannot do the same for bannerlord.

Not only, I have played NW a lot in 2016, it was really the best community I have ever seen

There were tons of constructive threads and topics, which were just ignored, mine too. It is impossible not to be salty on devs. And yeah, this thread is not a bait or something, I really think that M&B has the best community in overall, not including some exceptions

When did we vote for @Mr_Shestak to be community leader?

I'm neither pissed off at Taleworlds, nor friendly in the first place.

If anything, all I see is crying. And Taleworlds didn't make anyone cry alone, our own expectations can take a fair chunk of the blame for that.
Where I said that I am a community leader? =/ Community isnt crying, it is angry about the state of BL and how TW handle that.

I think its known that the M&B community in general was less salty and toxic before Bannerlord hit EA.

It was and that what makes me sad the most =( I havent knew about that forum before 2019 (Im playing M&B since 2008 ), because WB was just awesome and there was no point to be on this forum, if you werent a competitive player
