Well, considering I'm 14, I can't drink(And technically, nobody's supposed to smoke weed, but whatever), and unfortunately, I don't know anyone at my school who sells drugs. That said, I don't ever plan on smoking anything, be it legal or not, through a pipe, rolled, or whatever, nor do I plan on drinking.

Its just not my thing.

Haha..I remember I said I wasn't going to drink when I was younger.

Alcohol. Although I'm being a ***** and avoiding it for a week or so. That last week played havoc on my liver.

Heh, I remember saying that too...

Turns out I was right (well, so far at least). Actually, when I was a kid I said that I'd stay away from all alcohol except wine on special occasions. Now I stay away from wine as well, mostly because I have no desire to drink it, just like I have no desire to drink other forms of alcohol, smoke, or do drugs.

I'll drink alcohol if it tastes good, which frankly wine, beer and most alcoholic beverages don't. I'll go drinking with a few friends a couple of times a year but I've never really cared that much about alcohol little alone other drugs. I prefer the socialising aspect of going for a drink rather than the actual drink.

I don't have anything against occaisional use of marijuana, and I could easily get some if I wanted, but I really have no desire.

As for tobacco, I was recently described as militantly anti-smoking xD

EDIT: Although it depends on the person, if I value your life/health/friendship a lot I'd really get on your case and probably freak out if any of my close friends started smoking. Luckily none of them do except one.

Well, from a small taste, I must say that beer, at least, tastes and smells bad. Hence I have no desire to drink it.

Smoking well, I can't imagine breathing in that ****. I like keeping a clear head.

I've never heard of anyone liking beer from the first taste. I found it pretty awful.

coffee...i only drink one cup a day. i smoke a quarter ounce of weed every 2 weeks... a joint a night when i sit down in front of my computer after i get my kids to bed... i would be an alcoholic except i suffer really bad hangovers. i drink a six pack and a couple of shots of taquilla and i puke all day the day after.. it usually takes me 2 weeks to work up the courage to drink again.

Neither have I, just like I've never heard of someone who tried smoking for the first time and liked it right off the bat (I'm not saying such people don't exist, I just don't know of any), which is why I don't understand why people continue from that point.

I liked beer the first time I tried it. Never liked smoking though, it was always horrible when I tried, so I never continued.

And not to sound all holier-than-thou and judgmental, but if I had kids, I wouldn't smoke anything in the house, regardless of whether they're in bed.

Unless you grow your own fruit and vegetables and have a big ass water filter, it's a bit late to be worrying about that.

I make my beer, I make my mead, my wine has failed as of yet, but I am sure next tries will work out better. I also am addicted to chocolate, but it's emergency food...

In my lifetime (probably about two to three times the length of the average person here), I've tried everything on the list except salvia (had to look that one up) and heroin--part of my "experience directly in order to know a thing" thing.  Heroin was excluded because it's physically addictive and involves using needles.  But I haven't used anything except herb and alcohol since 1991, which was the last time I used cocaine.  Times were different when I was growing up, and experimentation among young adults was much more common, and recreational drugs were much easier to get and the laws controlling them much more loosely enforced.  I also spent my late teens and early twents playing keyboards in a variety of club-touring rock bands, so everything was always around.

I rarely drink nowadays, and if I do it's a bit of brandy on a cold night, or a glass of good wine with a fine meal.  I would still smoke herb, but I'm on a tight budget at the moment and I'm living away from my hometown, so my connections are few and it's just not worth the risk, investment in time to procure, or the expense.  If an old friend dropped in with KGB though, I'd happily hoot up provided I didn't have anything important to do the next day (it tends to laze me out and sap my initiative).  That was really the value of smoking herb in my inner circle--it brought us all together, loosened us up for fun and laughs. 

Oddly, of the many friends I've had, the ones who still keep in touch after 30 years are those that used to hang out together in Dan's bus, smoking, laughing, rockin' and playing D&D.
