Wow thx for the bit about Placing troops on the list. . .never new why i could move them for any real purpose except for getting my "companions" organized where i don't have to scroll everywhere on the list. . . . do you know when the next lvl is that i can put points in Leadship? I'm at 5 i think. And my buddy jermeus takes care of all the healing ;p

For placing Skill Points, there are two things to remember.

First, they are dependent on Attribute Points.
For all skills, they can only be one third of an Attribute Point.
Eg: You can only have 3 Riding with 9 Agility.

Secondly, some of them are party-skills, meaning they affect the whole party. The descriptions for the Skills, to find out which ones are party and which ones aren't, are in the top-right corner when you click on the skill. Knowing which skills to invest in, and how they affect the party can greatly help your quest for awesomeness ( for lack of a better term). Also, some skills are best left to companions, as you have done with Jeremus, at least until you start levelling those up much later in the game. Do be warned though, that some companions grate on eachothers nerves. To find out which, there is a list floating around somewhere, detailing the two groups of eight that get along with each other.

Hope that helps.

Ahhh That makes sense. Yes I'm guilty of putting only the highest Tier Troops into garrison, take the lower ones into battle and adventure then come back some time later with them Fully upgrade, place them in, recruit more then continue the cycle

lol I do exactly the same

I have a castle and a town and have around 100 best soldiers in each one, I also keep a band of Swadian Knights with me at all time aswell as a couple of Nord Huscarls the other 86 places are for ****ty recruits lol
