Right now the Vaegirs own half the land, as a vassal I have Suno, Praven, Tihr, and Vindjourd castle, each are well defended. My plan is during wartime to take an enemy castle and ask for it by request, as I already have a lot of Towns I figure that King Yagolek will deny my claim and that will enable me to start a rebellion against him with four well defended, (five in total), fiefs; then I can scout around for lords to join my kingdom and generally have a good time. Will this plan work? If you rebel against a king when you already have other fiefs do you keep those fiefs? Thanks. Also are lords with the upstanding trait able to rebel against their King?

Yes, if he denies you.  If he doesn't, you've got another castle to garrison!  (Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.)

If your king hasn't denied you a fief, then rebelling will cause you to lose all your fiefs.  If you were playing a married female character, you'd have the option to convince your husband to rebel and still keep all your fiefs.

Thanks. Also are lords with the upstanding trait able to rebel against their King?

Yes, but they're the hardest to convince.

Upstanding lords are also the most worthwhile to convince.
If I had 20 Lords with leader-stats, and a personality like Firentis, then I'd be totally set to conquer the world.
