Tabletop Simulator on Steam

Right, so this little gem is a physics based simulation/sandbox that allows you to load in boardgames, cardgames, chess/checkers, Warhammer fantasy and 40k armies, the list goes on. A bunch of us have got it and tried it out tonight, and it's great. Works really, surprisingly well. We wrapped up our session and decided we wanted to get more people in on it so that's why I'm posting the thread.

It's only 13€ on Steam at the moment (at 33% off), which is a steal considering the amount of games workshop creators have made.

The plan is to keep a list of people who have it and arrange sessions in advance using this thread, so everyone can get familiar with a game's rules before we play.

List of people who have it:

Me
Wellenbrecher
Amontadillo
Leifr Eiríksson
Rapier17

From what I've seen it has everything you could want to play D&D or Pathfinder, yeah. The rulebooks obviously don't come with the game or the workshop mods though.

I plan on picking it up during the holiday sale. I don't have any money for games until then.

I have hard copies of 1st Edition of the WEG Star Wars rulebooks and source books, if we want to have a go at that.

For RPGs, are there in-game sheets that you can create? Like a Pathfinder or DnD character sheet?
Haven't checked yet, but if there is no "proper" one for the module, either you have one in front of you IRL or the host spawns a note sheet and everyone writes it down there.
Not a problem, the game offers plenty opportunities in that regard.

Anyone tried Warhammer Quest with it? Some friends and I have been thinking about getting it for this.

Alright, so what say we meet up tonight for a few rounds of Betrayal at House on the Hill? At least me, Wellen and Amontadillo are familiar with the game. It's quite easy to get into and a lot of fun. You explore a random haunted house together, finding items omens and events until **** goes down and one player becomes the BBG. He then proceeds to try and murder everyone in one of about 60 different scenarios that are possible (Cthulhu's tentacles may or may not be involved).

The rules can be found here. They're free from the Wizards of the Coast website, but this has them bundled.

Sign up below and we can set a time to start. Looking for 6 players, me included. If this works well and we all like it, we can decide on another game to play afterwards, and all get familiar with the rules before the next session.

Attending:

I
Wellenbrecher
Rapier17 (most likely)
Amontadillo (not impossible)

We're going to try to start around 1900GMT, but I'm sure at least some of us will still be on at that time.

That'll make it around eight here. Hmmmm. Might be home sooner. I'll hit up whoever I've got on Steam when I get in.

Have to pass today. Completely knackered after helping dad with the bees. Will you be playing some other day?

So I summarise:

Leifr - a little half-dead girl after some adventures - turned out to be a cannibal that tried to eat the four of us.
So Gaham - a healthy little girl - killed him right away.
Rapier 17 - a ridiculously strong little girl - bravely stepped in the way of the four wild cannibal freaks trying to feast on us and the poor four victims we found in the attic. The freaks attacked him/her and she/he managed to kill three of them.
Gaham bravely stepped in and slew the last one with his bloody dagger - crippling himself to hit harder in the process - while also giving himself an adrenaline shot.

While the girl were battling it out the ridiculously strong and fast jock - me - and the weak, slow, but knowledgeable and somewhat sane Professor - Sheep - bravely escorted the victims out of the attic

Bit of a disappointing end - it was stacked against Leifr unfortunately as he had been crippled leading up to the haunt and we ended up in the perfect place to intercept him, the freaks and the victims - to a very cool start.
Good fun anyway.
