System Requirements?

I know this isn't exactly a "customer support" question, but I didn't know where else to post it.

What are the system requirements for this game? I've been playing the demo on my friend's computer, but I don't want to buy it and then find out that the game runs unplayably slow (especially in those huge 30 vs 30 person battles) on my PIII 800 mHz computer with a 32 meg nVIDIA video card / 256 megs SDRAM.

I have
Athlon XP 1700+
GeForce 4 MX 420
256 MB DDR

I have to run the game on minimum video settings and reduce the size of the battles to get even reasonably playable fps (10-25).

Download the demo and try if you can play the game.

Does anybody out there actually know the specific system requirements? Or roughly what would be nice to have?

Right now I'm looking to get a new computer, but I only want as much as I need to play WoW, GTA San Andreas and M&B (thats gotta be flattering to be on the same list as those other two games).

I guess there probably isn't a system requirements list, though, since two indie developers probably wouldn't have the resources to run a system test.

There was a minimum specs list somewhere, but minimum and playable are often far apart.

Your best bet would be to try the demo on your own system. It should run, but i doubt you'll get a great framerate in the larger battles.

As far as the new system goes if it can run GTA:SA fine then M&B shouldn't be a problem.

I suggest a minimum of 512Mb ram and 2Ghz + processor. Graphics will depend on AGP or PCI express capabilities. Nvidia 6600 or 6800 cards are available for both, are cheap and can throw polygons around like there's no tomorrow. The system will play any of those three games quite happily. If possible, go for 1Gb Ram and the fastest processor you can afford.

Only 256 MB RAM here, the game runs at atleast 50 FPS most of the time, and with big battles it can slow down a little. 256 is enough to run the game efficiently.

256 Mb ram
Geforce 2 Ti
Intel P4 1.6 Ghz
Win XP
Gives a decent performance. A little lag in the larger battles and a slight delay when getting loot or talking to a shop keeper, but not overly noticable.
Average FPS is around the 50 mark

512Mb Ram
Geforce 6600GT
Intel P4 2.6 Ghz
Win XP

Slight increase on the above. Slight slowdown in huge battles, but perfectly playable otherwise.
Average FPS close to 100.

now i have 1gb ram,radeon 9200,pentium4 2.8,win xp but NO ÝNTERNET

Hmm runs great for me.

Win XP

2.66Ghtz P4

512 Ram

Radeon 9550

Haven't seen Frame probs of and sort with maxed settings so far.
My first post, haven't bought yet but gonna prolly within the next 12 to 24 hours.

I have a PIII 500, 256 RAM, TNT2 64 card (overclocked about 15%), and it is playable with all the settings off or on minimum (the battle size slider is about 1 / 4 of the way up).

I get about 35 fps in the arena. The worst it gets in battles is 8 fps, when there are quite a few units on the screen. But even then it's playable. The most annoying thing is that since I have the texture detail very low it's hard to read some of the writing in the menus, particularly the unit names on the party screen.

To you lot with decent PCs this probably sounds awful, but the game is still easily enjoyable enough for me to have bought a serial key.

I have a 2.01 AMD Athlon XP 2900 with 1024 MB of ram and a GeForce FX 5200. I go at an 80/90 FPS high, dropping down to 50 at the most dense of battles.
