I tried them and I love these girls (in warband)... they are fast (well sometimes too fast...), heavily armored and cool!
My questions are:

[*]How do you get them? The only way I know of is to liberate them from bandits...

you get them by training pesant women up they are the top troop in that tree

Thx Big_man for your reply... but where do you recruit a peasant woman?

You can get peasant womens when recuing them from bandits.

For tactics part , i have always used them same as rest of cavalry.
