Swinging a bit sluggish

I find the weapon swinging a bit more sluggish to native so I'm just curious if this is intended by the mod or I should look into a performance issue with my pc? By sluggish i mean there's a bit of latency between clicking and the model actually swinging to attack

Thanks

Sounds weird. Haven't had the possibility to play 1.38 yet.

Is it only with fighting? Or is there a 'Time-Until-Respond' with other functions too?

Could be a CPU related issue, try checking 'Forced Single Threading', or uncheck if already checked.
Try changing combat speed.
Try some game booster with the function that increases the processor speed,
without making a physical clock.

If your computer works in waves while nearly idle, try a virus scan too. ( _._/\_-__._/\_.-.__/\_ )
Can be checked in Taskmanager>Performance, and your PC doesn't necessarily need to be slow.

No it's only with swinging. Although loading new scenes does take a bit longer than native, but I thought that would be due to the fact the map is so much bigger and the locations look more demanding. CPU performance is flat ~0% on idle

That's right

I think sluggish swings is due to slower speed of weapons in Brytenwalda.
