The only thing I would see bothering with a woman with bare breasts is if she sits down next to you in a café or something and you get boobies in the coffee.
Yeah, what the **** is she doing out of the kitchen?
I'd say the rope around her ankle is too long.

And on a more constructive note, I mostly find what avatorio said is close to how I feel. (With better proof-reading next time, please.) Also I noticed that we (most of the posts above) are talking about feminists as one group. The point about feminists for equality vs. feminists as advocators of women's interests has already been made, but that is not the end of it. I'm sure there's a healthy bunch of feminists in Sweden who think that this swimminghall incident is neither good for women or for equality. And there are probably a few nutters who think men should wear tops too.
The article also indicates that this has been happening in Denmark first, which doesn't surprise me at all. All in all, it's an article in a yellow paper confirming for finnish yokels the stereotypical perceptions they hold about Sweden and Denmark. (Swedes are so concerned about equality and political correctness that they'll go to any length to complicate matters and make life miserable for all, and the Danes have no inhibitions or scruples about anything -religious, sexual or otherwise.)

That's true. I was partying with the bad kind of feminist yesterday, the bald one that makes derogatory comments to men in general while strung out on E.

Well, that's kinda broad. What about Norwegians? Are they just as bad?

Mmmm, I have the slightest inclination to travel to Sweden just to show off my boobs. As long as both men and women are comfortable with it, there should be no problem. Really, "perving" is only an issue for the boob-deprived.

Yeah, for us internet geeks who see breasts all the time it's simply not a big deal!
It needs to be in the flesh! If you do not fill your real-life boob quota, you explode into a raving perv! The internet is no substitute for live titties.

To which the only real answer is...

Go to a beach. Anywhere.

Even in the middle of winter there are madwomen going topless on beaches.

If you don't want people staring, then don't show it. Mind, there are different stares.

Meh, you can still perve when they cover them up anyway, especially at a swimming baths.

The thing is neither men nor women are comfortable with it here. It wasn't men that complained the loudest and got the ones bathing topless thrown out and started this circus.

And to everyone shouting how great it is, and you get to see boobies, don't get your hopes up. It's only a couple of crazy feminists that are doing it at the moment to show that they've won, but they'll soon put their bathing suits back on. They had a pretty scary article in a Swedish newspaper that pretty much sums up what the results will be of this. And no it's not horrible fat people. This isn't America, we don't have fat people. It's old people. Water gymnastics is apparently very good for your joints when you grow older, and it's very popular, especially with old hags. They had a picture of a group of oldies in much too revealing swimsuits (that is, they did not consist of ten tons of concrete) with the text "Water gymnastics? Perhaps it will be performed topless in the future".

There you have it. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

And on how important things the feminists concentrate on here, it is not the laws that force only one gender to do something, or get thrown into jail, which we still have. No, that would be stupid. In one newspaper they had a series of articles, for I think a full week (one issue a day), about peeing. Yeah, you see, women can not stand up when they pee. They feel that was unjust. I just read the first part, but their they had one notice about a feminist organisation that had made a small tube allowing women to stand up and pee, "it feels very rewarding and free" one said, another claimed to feel released from the schackles that was imposed on her. Another quite long interview with a (male) doctor was about the importance to stand up while peeing, it is supposedly good for your mental as well as physical health, you stand and feel powerful and can squirt a little here, a little there, and since the urinary system is properly stretched out the bladder empties better. Yeah, that's the important stuff. The interviewer was also chocked and said there'd be a mess all over the place, but he proposed to make all toilets higher, so that they would be primarily used for standing up and peeing in. He thought that a splendid idea.

Yeah... That improves equality, and is good for womens rights, they shouldn't have to sit and pee, that's evil. The evil men has forced them too. Yeah. It's unfair.

No, the matter was that most women wont let the guys stand up and pee since they thought it made a mess. And then someone thought "Hey, let's make several articles about peeing with different perspectives".
