A nice example of activity from the community, a guy called Morrolan runs a thing called Lvennkhal Times, i bet you can guess what it is. The stories however are based purely on IC events which actually took place, making it even more fun. here's one of the issues:

Conspiracy against the Times
After their arrest and public whipping, Sophie of Yalen and accomplice Arundel were seen talking to mercenary leader and alleged sea raider Thor. A reliable source that wishes to remain anonymous overheard them conspiring against the Lvennkhal Times' head writer and reporter Morrolan E'Drien. Thor suggested a bribe might change the information that is placed in the Times. Sophie of Yalen, however, seemed prepared for more drastic acts.
Search for Sophie continues
After more reports came to the light about Sophie of Yalen's heinous crimes, an even larger search party than last time was called together by the Swadian Council of nobles. After meeting between Dragonfell village and Rudelle Village, they split up in order to search the countryside. After rejoining, Lord Balron of Sirmen seemed to get more and more suspicious about a certain lumbercamp. When tensions rose to high, the entire company entered the camp. Sophie, however, could not be found.
Brothers in crime
Previous week, several have been mugged by a certain pair of thieves, namely the Diaz brothers. Among the victims was Fendrel Browne, a member of the Surgeon Union in Lvennkhal. He could describe the Diaz brothers' facial features.
The first Diaz is dark skinned, is bald and has a mustache. The second is white skinned, has black hair and an unkempt beard. They both walk around in a white tunic and carry a sword.

We just thought to finally have reports of the wherabouts of Sophie of Yalen, moved out with an army, nothing there. Had to pay the 15 mercenaries anyway so there goes my money haha

It can be a little rough to get into, but reading the guide for new players on the wiki explains it pretty thoroughly. There's a long list of commands to learn as well, I'd print off the command list so you can have it handy. Once you get into it, it's a blast!Nordous 说:Yeah, sounds just like the right thing!
Been playing since release and got me hooked up. Never had so much fun anywhere in any other RP mod. The community is awesome, events are awesome. Regarding people who are at a loss of how to start out, after two days of selling stuff and working for people I already managed to get a full set of weapons, so its not that hard if you push yourself. The guide really helps a lot. I have to say that the community response to events is awesome and nobody is trigger happy so when an event is happening, its not always army vs army like on the persistant world mods, events vary a lot. I recommend this mod a lot. As I said once you get the hang of it you will not be disappointed.

We opened the 22nd, and so far we've had around 50 plyers at a constant (peaking up to 70).
I have to say sorry for all nasty things i posted here. I was raging because of ban. After playing 3 days on RP server, i understood that this is the best RP Warband experience i ever had! Surely, map still needs much more care and love, but i must say, that respect from players for doing such work is the least what devs are deserved to get.
I hope that devs would dedicate their time and effort to make this a truly Real World of Warband, where players can live and RP at max.

This mod is amazing, I highly recommend it to everyone.
