Swadian footmen

I got the quest to capture some Swadian footmen for a Vaegir-lord.

But as far as I've seen there are no enemy groups that include Swadian footmen... although I only played 2 unregistered Chars until level 6, so maybe there is a way around this?

Think the addition of different troops careers are great, but all should be in some groups so the quests work out (and so you get more different enemies as well).

Get with it and give Armagan $10 and maybe he will get around to adding stuff faster. Its not like this game isn't worth it. Great game for $10.

Yepp, I know it's a pretty old thread, but is this fixed in 0.632?

As the king himself gave me the order to capture four of them but I have still to find one after 10+ (ingame-)days...

It should be fixed. Just go find a patrol or war party.

Are they really footmen or do Peasants or Militia. So far I have yet to come across a Swadian footmen... Maybe it's just my bad luck

Bad luck. Ive just made the same quest two days ago. But it took me for a long time to find them. Today i was offered again but i had alraedy lost many men after my last fight so i reloaded. Then i realized i alredy had 4 swad. footman prisoners
so they exist. Check for foragers or war parties inside swadian borders.

Yes, yesterday I came across some of them myself - in a biiiig war party while my ranks were depleted...

Stupid Lord of Tulga, completed a quest to bring some armor and the next quest is to raise 4 Knight. Well, I have five so I comlete that task as well - just to get asked for five horsemen in the next. Ah well, I have those as well, so what, here you go. You would think he might be happy now but no, now he asks for six footmen.

maybe its just luck.. but when i personally lead my soldiers they always kill enemies and rarely knock down. But when i order them to attack, they usually get several prisoners. So you may want to order them to attack if they quickly slaughter enemies. Not an absolute solution but why not give a try?:p

I return to Count Aolbrug of Wercheg with 4 Swadian footmen in tow and he still tells me to keep working on it.

Yes, they are Swadian Footmen. I have them in my prisoner list. Four of them.

Any ideas?

same thing happened to me just for that i can't get quests from vaegir king
