at last these aren't the sea riders of the sieges mod i give them armour and some other things but this aren't important
and yes i found 1 more bug

Oh yeah. I put that in with the first town sieges version just to confuse people and forgot to take it out.  :lol: Thanks for telling me.

Good call ottomanski. I played around with it a bit, and it happens when you join the vaegirs, and then join an ai battle. It must be somehow changing the variable "$no_soldiers_left", since that is the only one which affects the siege menu. I think that if I remove that conditional, the problem will dissapear.

Allright, I don't know if anyone is still following this thread at all, but I have fixed all the forementioned bugs and added quite a few new features.
Thus far these are: Catapults and crumbling walls. Still a bit buggy but I put them in Praven, Norgard, and the training ground just to show them off untill I can get them working better.
                          New looting system. Rather than going to the loot box after battle, you can walk up to any corpse on the battlefield and press "f" to loot it.
                          Revamp of the battlefield morale system. Now each side can be mad with bloodlust, eager for action, holding steady, wavering, or routing, each with its own unique set of behaviors.
                          If you choose to allow your enemies to survive after routing them, the battle will be over, and you can take them all prisoner.
                          Recruiting from prisoners should be back in.
                          Built in battle size changer. Multiply what you put in the battle sizer by 3 to get the approximate number of men that can fit on the map.
                         

Also, Ottomanski, if you are still out there, I will be able to use your help for the next version after this one, which should be very soon.

Yes, you will just get  three times as many as you were expecting. Forgot to mention that I rebalanced the weapons somewhat. Spears are now more effective, and shields are now more effective against swords and arrows, less effective against axes.

If you have anything at all to say please say it. I'll be out of town for the next little while, but I'll be glad to hear it when I get back.

About the next version: Since most all of the dificult scripting is in place for this mod, I'll be moving on to adding some new fun features. I won't tell you exactly what they are, but I'll need some community input  for this. Anyone who wants to contribute, post a name for a character, a set of equipment and what faction they belong to.

Very nice, however, it seems I still can't recruit from my prisoners. Maybe it's just me.
Also, I noticed that the triple battle size only works in normal battles, not in town or castle battles.

Good job on the mod anyways!

did u mean to put dat in there?
 
:/ Can you fix the battle sizer In this mod. i set it to 14 to test it and it still spawned [ The in-game battle sizer].

Like a 1000 troops on the battlefield. When every i play this mod. And there for it became unplayable.

Other then that good mod. Can you add more options for heark in zender :smile: Like upgrades random vassles and stuff.

Meh !You can't stop the ammount of troops into the battle ....if there are 500 , 200 , it will be 500 vs 200 (unplayeble)Please if you can make it work with the ammount of troops that you selected (in battles) :sad: I don't like 200 vs 100 (it's way to how can i say ...can't play)

Forgot to put it in there. The plundering will only be there in ordinary battles too. I'll fix that.

Thanks for the compliment, and as for the second part. What do you have your battlesizer on? The game will function as though battle size were three times that high.

Thanks. The catapults are in Norgard, Praven, and the training ground. Hit the counterweight or arm to fire it. The samurai gear is also there in native.  :razz: I found out about it by playtesting the sieges in the mod.

I'll try and see if I can't get the same bug to occur on my computer. It usually doesn't take me long to fix them after that. I'll certainly add more options in Zendar now that most of the hard coding is in place.

MY battlesizer [Mod battleSizer] was on 100 but after like 99999 tropps on the field i turned it down but no diffence
 
I'll look into it then. What were you fighting against? Was it a battle you joined? What was in your party? Sometimes bugs have very specific conditions.
 
Thanks. I'll see if I can't get to it before I go out of town. Too much travel this summer.  :mad:

EDIT: looked into it, and the only problem I can find (apart from it not working besides in field battles) is that it multiplies the battlesize by 4.5 rather than 3. Thus to get battlesize 40 you would need to set the battlesizer on 8.

In the mean time, I've decided that since most of the scripting I plan to do for the next version will either not work untill the new version of m+b or would be made obsolete by it, I'll do a little work on graphics. Here's a sword I made for the sea raiders, who will be vastly expanded next version:

But it's a civil war and the player is a Swad.

BUG: For some reason the enemy turned green and allies turned red.

And my allies run after me but don't attack. The messenger Can't get to me because he runs away.
The enemy's don't chase me but if i go to them they attack me.
