Well...actually i played wow for a long timeeeee...((4 years)) and everything i can say is: They are homemade...really...theres none orc-shield, weapon or those nightelf glaives that are in the wow data...especially the shield. Look at the orc-grunt shield in wow when you find a pic, its definately selfmade.

At ease, Guys. Maybe many of us pass judgement too easily, but I can not be pissed at someone who mistakes my work for Blizzard's.

And if they were ripped off, the armours would come from Warcraft III: The Reign of Chaos, not from WoW.

Even funnier than your last comment.

Its the truth . The orcs armours were used by Grunts in WCIII. I acutally don't know what's funny about it, or you just like unstated, wrong statements/opinions.

I found it funny because the armors are in wow as well, and due to polycount would much more likely be from there.

This is a forum, not a chat room, there is no need to "type fast".
unlike you i also have a real life to take care off....

Yes, I am sure everyone who prefers to type sensible has no life. Thanks for throwing youtube insult nr XYZ at me.
I do not give a damn about why you are doing it, it's still annoying.

I believe the OP, I believe the models are home-made, I do not think he is lying.
I just tossed the possibility out there since it came out of nowhere.

Let's stop talking about this, it serves no purpose.
fine, lets forget about all this

Um.. I've having a little trouble adding them to the game.

The tutorial is good for armour, but everything but the armour has a different pattern to the code that goes with it, so I'm not sure what to change.

what you got them already? how?

also are you going to update the old models a bit? specifically skin tone  other improvements would be great.

Sorry if i missed it somewhere.. but is this going to be a mod?
or did you just show off how you know how to make muscular wide green people and some hot pointy eared chicks???? xD
lol

Yes differing item classes has dissident parameters. If you can not localize the code, the best you can do is looking for an item in the mod's merchants with the same class and similar parameters what you want for the item that you import. Than you have to find that item in the mod's Item_kinds1.txt. Copy and paste it's line to the end of the file, and change the item ID and model name with the new ones.

Halcyon:

Telling the true, I have no further plans with those old models. Armor of Xena - I have updated Surrealarms with it - is the last one of those, which I made compatible with Native's body parts.

The reason is; I am looking for work, that is why I want to use my new models as references too, but take the original neck "solution"- it is too crude for this purpose. It will be changed to something like what nightelves and orcs already have in the video.
With the same swing I want to make rigged knees, minor skeleton modification, faces, hairs and so on...  to get humans up to standard. So, there will be no more trifling with the detailes.

MISHO:

  Yes

I tried that with (for example) the other helmets in the mod(Native expansion) and they code patterns are still different. :/

If you find, copy, paste, and rename the right items line, then you do not have to care for the code pattern.

oh well, that is too bad but understandable. Really by update i meant maybe a slightly more refined model and texture, even if it keeps the 'old' native format.

As for the new format you are working on, would be able to import those into another mod?

the idea with the knees, and neck is great, maybe it could also be translated to the hands/wrist? It always kind of bothered me that the hands were so separated from the torso so to speak.

Ok, please forgive my severe ignorance but.. are you saying I can just copy of the code of another helm and simply swap the name?

damn, that Xena is amazing!!     Let me know when you are ready to model Princess Leia.
