Supporting Mount & Blade content creators

Well, you likely already ****ed up by using dupe accounts to post here and agree with yourself, making your proposal seem more popular than it is. This means that people already don't trust you and think you're full of ****. Secondly, if TW were, say, to give pre-release copies of Bannerlord to YouTubers, so they could show off the game and draw attention to it, why would you want one of those people to be someone who boasts about trying to win in games by taking advantage of exploits and loopholes? That's not showcasing a good game; that's showing everything that's wrong with a game and showing people how to cheat in it. :???:

Warning - while you were typing 2 new replies have been posted. You may wish to review your post.

I did ask people from the stream to join here and chime in on the post but I did not create multiple accounts and I'm sure an admin can confirm that through the IP address. You can also watch the video of the stream where I'm first suggested the post.

Secondly I have never seen a video where x beau tries to "break the game"  I have seen his tutorial on how to use the cheats that are built into the game.

Lastly I think we have established in this conversation that a larger more popular content creator would be better. So lay off the murmuring and make a real contribution to the discussion.

Fact remains, none of us here have any content to share about Bannerlord.  I reiterate my instructions, PM or e-mail Armagan and make your opinion known.

Quite. Unless you want YouTubers talking about months-old blog posts or just speculating for the purpose of hype, there wouldn't be much for them to talk about unless TW's laughable PR section actually got off their asses and provided the YouTubers with some new info. And I don't think I need to explain how unlikely to happen that would be.

Edit: I mean, they could do a "This is Mount and Blade, it's really cool, there's a new sequel in development, keep yours eyes out for it" sort of video, but beyond that...

I have a Mount & Blade video with over 100,000 views. Obviously I should be their shill.

But you're an irredeemable ****. I think the forum should pull together and Kickstart me. I'll use it to make videos about the forum. Promise.

But, to the original post: Any info released is usually quickly spread throughout most of the big gaming sites and reddit. I saw a thing on PC Gamer (I think, might have been RPS) the other day where they devoted an entire ****ing article to Lust answering 4 comments with "lol don't know can't talk about it yet" in the Bannerlord thread. I don't think there's much more than can be done other than spamming emails to the company, which would be wholly counterproductive. They'll tell us more when they're ready. A not insignificant amount of popular YouTubers mention the game frequently anyway, and as soon as a tangible product is released, I'm sure they'll be all over it. The Mount and Blade franchise has certainly reached the point by this time that when it arrives in some form they'll be a ton of YouTube videos titled "BANNERLORD BLIND PLAYTHROUGH" and what not. And not just from small folks. Unless it arrives on the same day as the new Call of Duty and Half Life 3, it'll get a lot of attention. When there's something to pay attention to.

The wait does suck, but hopefully it won't be too much longer. We'll find out something at E3, at the very least.
