Here's a "Native horse dust" particle_systems.txt file: MediaFire Download
I've tested it and it works, reverting dust back to Native, but maintaining the new village fires, etc. I'll add it to the second post of the Bugs/Known Issues thread.

Since I installed the Floris Mod (which totally rocks by the by) I've been having a CTD problem.  I took my native character I had just started (about 25 days in) and transferred it to the Floris save folder so I could play him and not lose progress.  Once I began playing everything was smooth, except every so often while on the World map the game would close out and Windows would say it had stopped responding.  The crash only occured on the World map and was not too often so I figured it was just something to watch for.  But lately (around the 40-50 day range) the game will crash, again only on the World map, after only a couple of minutes riding around.  I've tried all of the fixes in the FAQ, but I still get the crash.  I apologize if this is an old problem, the posts I had read seemed to focus on crashes once a battle starts.  Which I haven't had a problem with once. Thanks in advance and again awesome mod!

I keep getting runtime errors whenever I enter instances of combat.

Well, specifically, the second time that I enter combat after loading a save, I keep get runtime errors, and I'm not sure what the problem is.

The mod itself runs fine on my comp, and while it takes a while to load the actual map and models for the soldiers, the combat still runs smoothly and flawlessly, no hiccups. I'm just not sure where this runtime error keeps popping up from.

To me sound was the problem and I solved it by replacing the sounds txt. with older one.But now I have some loud galloping while moving on campaign map.Is that intentional, or is it a bug?

Do you have the black charger in your party? Its evil and makes you crash.

I saw it and downloaded it. Thanks.

I am using Flrois expanded v2.4. When I try to make a new game, as soon as I choose which city to start from I get a runtime error when I click "continue". I have done everything that has been suggested to do to the graphic settings (enabling textures on demand, lowering corpses disabling rag dolls etc), yet to no avail. The Basic version works just fine.

I've closed all background programs as well.

Windows Vista 32
4GB RAM
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core 4200+ 2.20ghz
Any suggestions?

You need to do the memory fix linked in the Crashes section of the FAQ or else that RAM is wasted on your 32-bit system.

I have the same issue and similar pc. Seems that if i disable game sound it works..so i don't think is because of ram.
And i can't play it without sound

Ok, after reading a bit more trough various thread it seems that it was a sound problem after all.
I went to the Bugs and fixes thread and downloaded "SolutionB" and now it works

Problem solved. I cannot thank you enough, this mod is amazing!

Hey, sorry if there's a post about this already but its nearly 12 at night and I CBA to go through the whole topic lol.

I've started a new game and character, but every time my wage screen pops up, I'm paying 39 for 'earlier debts' W/E that is. Only on day 25.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: dw it stopped, i thought it might

Hi guys. I have a problem here.

---------------------------
RGL ERROR
---------------------------
Unable to open texture file Modules\Floris Expanded Mod Pack 2.4\Textures\itm_armor_mail_long_surcoat_hospitaller.dds
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I redownloaded the mod just now. I recently formatted my drive so something may be out of date, though I've updated to SP1 does this mod require anything else as far as windows updates? I've also updated C++ and framework. Before that error I was getting a runtime error whenever I clicked start a new game.

Specs:
Q9450 @ 2.66 GHZ (Was at 2.0 out of the box, put it up to it's advertised speed)
8800 GT
4 GB RAM

I was playing this fine before I formatted, dunno what's up now.

EDIT: I've had a look for the file in textures and it's definetly there. I've tried using a backup file imported from my external HDD and it says the same thing.

I checked LTOD on and now it works. Gonna keep running through things. Making a character now.

Now I'm getting:
---------------------------
RGL ERROR
---------------------------
Unable to open texture file Modules\Floris Expanded Mod Pack 2.4\\Textures\env_tree_bushes.dds
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Looks like LOD was only a temp measure. It looks like a lot of the files won't be loading. I can't download the mod again due to download allowance (Australian here).

See the FAQ section on Crashes.
Make sure "Load Textures on Demand" is ticked.

With any RGL error, step 1 is to check that the file exists (it likely will). If it doesn't redownload/re-extract the mod as something went wrong there. If it does exist, you are running into memory limitations and you should see the FAQ section on Crashes (lower settings, change Windows settings to open more RAM up to Warband if you have a 32-bit system, etc.)

As I said in my post, I checked that the file was there and I can run the game fine, but when I go into a fight it says I can't open a file. Pretty sure it isn't an out of memory issue as I am using the same settings as I did when I played it last time.

Now getting:
---------------------------
RGL ERROR
---------------------------
Unable to open texture file Modules\Floris Expanded Mod Pack 2.4\Textures\itm_shield_dec_sshield.dds
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I'm done The bcdedit in the FAQ and the other thread and my VA is at 4.5 GB.

Just downloaded Floris Expanded again from the torrent. Installing now.

Does this mod require any other software updates? Famework, C++, Java, Service packs or anything like that to run? I've run this fine before but I'm obviously missing something, as I used  my old installation that I backed up before I formatted which worked fine and now it's not. I've redownloaded Warband and the mod.

Gonna try gamebooster and some memory tweaks.

I've given up on the expanded pack. I don't really want all the graphical overhauls anyway since I can't use them. I've done the basic lite pack or whatever it is with the enhanced combat animations. Can I add more mods to that or not? All I want is the troop trees, they're really nice.

I'm trying to get the troop trees back, but whenever I do a get a huge amount of debug info when making a new character and the merchant you run into at the start changes randomly between different troop types. I'm using the animation mod in expanded, the arrows from expanded and custom player faction titles script. These worked fine before I tried getting the troops back. Really, for me, there's no point trying if I can't get them back.

Are the troop trees only available to expanded?

Hi guys. I got a problem starting Floris Map Pack Expanded (2.4). Here is the following info.

Mount and Blade Warband:1.134
Floris Expanded Pack: 2.4
Problem: Unable to open file: CommonRes\core_shaders.brf

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Check whether the file exists. If not, download again - if yes, you are running out of memory. Check the faq for help on that.
