Hello, i am just having trouble downloading the mod itself. It stops around 800 mb downloaded, and it comes up with a message saying "unexpected end of archive"
 
Try to use a download manager. There's quite a few that exist, but I haven't used them in years so I can't recommend any. Try googling and see comments and testimonials about them to see which one works best. I think many of them have plugins that work directly from your browsers too, so try to opt for those.
 
Floris: Expanded 2.55

First: Despite the fact that I have 150 battle size set in regular game options and 150 in mod settings, exactly 126 troops only end up on the battlefield no matter what, unless between myself and the other party there are not enough troops to total more than 126. I'm also having trouble getting my general settings to saved, which I have posted about in the regular tech support forum.

Second: Troops that I do not select on the pre-battle choose troops menu keep showing up, in particular my stat units. It's not all the time, but I may select 20/20 A5 Vaegir's, 20/20 c5 Saranids, 11 companions, and 54 Slaver Cheifs to make my total exactly what the permitted is, and my troop order in party screen is me, 11 companions,  68 Chiefs, 20 C5, 20 A5, 5 stat units (merchant, priest, hunter, bishop, surgeon), and despite this fact and my pre battle selection, I may end up with 54 chiefs, 11 vaegirs, 7 sarranids, and a few or all of my stat units, regardless of order or troop selection. Does anyone know what is going on?

This was just a login, save and exit, and logout. I can make one of a battle where this happens if need be.

EDIT: Yeah my troop selections aren't working period now, regardless of troop order or pre-battle selection, even companions are showing up when all are deselected and there's 150+ units ahead of them for 150 battle limit. I dunno what's going on...
 
Hi, I'm not sure if this is intentional behaviour but my save files for Floris are appearing in my documents folder and not the Mount&Blade SaveGames folder. Is there a way to change where the mod stores the save files?

Also, all my games are stored outside of both Program Files and Program Files(x86) so I'm fairly sure it's not Windows getting all bent out of shape over privileges and what-not.
 
Hello everybody, i have some issues with tornaments in this mod. The game just crashes, without any trouble message. Warband version 1.164 and mod version is 2.54
 
I have installed both the basic and the expanded version, but neither one of them appears in the launcher. I have Warband v1.165 Steam, if that helps. I have placed the folder in both the main Warband folder, and the Steam modules folder.
 
Anyone know where I can find the Manhunter spawn rate (i.e. number of parties on the map)? I'd like to turn it down since I turned down the bandit spawn rates as well.

It is in that file. It still doesn't appear in the launcher.
 
Hi guys! I'm new here. So anyway, first of all, I really really love warband. So I downloaded the Floris mode, and the idk what, upgrade (update?) or something thingy like yesterday, and now when i try to play it, I mean it goes all the way you know choose Floris blah blah, Taleworlds and then the game starts to load, (with that guy on the horse and the shield) on screen, and it gets somewhere in the "processing INI files" (like the load bar is nearly in the middle) and then this thing pops up, unable to open file: CommonRes\ui_server_filter.brf . SO yeah that's the thing and it won't open.. I tried to search for that common file, and it gets me a whole folder in which there isn't ui_server whatsoever. So if this forum isn't dead, I really want your help, please! How to fix this? :cry: :sad:

This is more related to modding. I'm trying to make a mod using floris as a base (mostly due to the gameplay features, the graphical part is gonna be different), but since I'm trying to use gameplay as a base, I'm having a hard time with the three troop trees.

How can I safely remove the multiple troop tree system from the module system? I fear that if I just remove the troops, everything is gonna stop working. I'd only like to keep the native tree only (or reworked, it doesn't matter, I just need the other 2 gone)
 
That would be a lot of work. Why dont you just pick the troop tree set automatically and alter that chosen set to suit your tastes?

I am new to this forum so I don't really know if there is anyone still active but I had a question.
I really, really want to play the Floris mod but it is not compatible with the current 1.166 version of Mount and Blade Warband..
I have bought the game on steam and can't set it back to a previous version so I cant play the mod atm.
Is there coming a compatible version anytime soon? I really want to try the mod out!

It should be compatible.

In any case you can still download old versions of the client from TaleWorlds official website. Just install it to a different folder.
