There's nothing obvious there, unfortunately. Your system should do OK with it...I'd recommend turning down some of the settings listed in the FAQ thread, or try installing the non-Steam version and see if you get any better results.

You can download directly from Taleworlds: http://www.taleworlds.com/download.aspx?type=2
In your Steam Library, click on Warband then on the right click on CD Key. That will give you the key to activate the non-Steam version (if it asks you; it might not and be smart enough to know you have it installed via Steam, too).

Have you looked at and applied some of the tweaks mentioned in the faq? Especially texture quality, no bodies, no ragdolls, no particle effects, low battle size should have an effect. Start with the lowest settings and then work your way up, prioritizing whats more important to you (i.e. graphics vs performance).
 
I can play the game fine until I have to talk to the band of 4 robbers to find out where the guys brother is at the start of the game. Then an RGL warning comes up saying the program isn't responding and it crashes. This has happened 4 times on Extended and Gameplay. I am using verision 2.53 and warband 1.53. Nothing seems like an error on the rgl.log
 
Hey, how come I crash when I try to enter a tournament? I have all my settings high but thats not the problem my computer is way beyond good enough to handle this. Everything else works perfectly fine I just can't enter tournaments :sad:, someone help?
 
Its caused by corrupted game data either due to a patch gone wrong, some outside fiddling with the data or a crack being used. A full legit install from the taleworlds version of the game should fix things.
 
During the opening scene of the game this is the case because we had to move when you get to pick your noble banner until after this point.  This was to remove a conflict between Floris and Warband 1.150.  I also notice that you are using 1.151 and recommend you update to 1.153 which is the intended version for Floris 2.53.

Windy has thoroughly investigated tournaments and there was nothing wrong with the tpe code. Since the crash does not occur for everyone, but only a few (of which some let us know that a full untouched install fixed things), its very likely that the crash is caused on the users end. If there is no way to fix things for you, you can however just turn off tpe and play with native tournaments.
 
My game likes to crash every time it loads 3d scenes like a tavern/town or battle but not in the map. But turning off load textures on demand seems to work.

Next time after a crash, please go to your install folder and copy the contents of the rgl_log.txt file and paste them here in a [code] [/code] block. You should need to have Load Textures on Demand "ON" to run Basic or Expanded...would be odd if it were the opposite.
 
Pretty simple problem, installing Floris pack, setting the location to the Modules folder in my Mount & Blade: Warband folder, selecting Expanded Mod Pack only, installs, and yet when I open Mount & Blade: Warband, the module list only contains Native and Diplomacy (which I had installed before). How do I open the game with Floris??

Double check that you didn't add an extra 'layer' of folders:
Warband\Modules\Floris\<bunch of files and folders> 
NOT
Warband\Modules\Modules\Floris\<bunch of files and folders>
 
Still no luck! After installation I have the order Warband\Modules\Floris\<bunch of files and folders> , but still when I open the game the launcher only gives Native and Diplomacy as options! I'm running version 1.153 of M&B, should be legit, what could the problem be?
 
To have the module listed, the game simply checks for the file module.ini in Warband\Modules\<module name>\

Are you sure you've installed to your installation folder (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Mount&Blade Warband\ ) and NOT to the Documents\Mount&Blade Warband\ folder?
