The XXI Rapax event is to my knowledge first North American hosted Shieldbattle in Rome at War. The time is set for 4pmEST/9pmGMT which is the perfect time for both NA and EU players. Every week the the Shieldbattle is hosted on our very own 200 slot server hosted in New York. The event consists of 2 maps, and first to 3 on each map. To ensure freshness each week the faction will be mixed up so everyone gets a turn at their own faction.
Rules
- Listen to the Hosts(s), the red text contains valuable information about the Shieldbattle.
- Don't spam global chat. You are allowed to freely talk, just don't spam the chat all the time. Keep offensive language to a minimum, humor is allowed, but if anyone takes offense stop.
- No Cavalry (Unless requested via steam before the battle)
- For every 6 men, 1 Skirmisher/Archer is allowed.
- No ramboing! Only engage in fights if you have a minimum of 4 members alive.
- If your clan is 3 members or less, join onto another clans line and stick with them.
- Ranged units are allowed to Skirmish.
- Don't delay the battle, if you're the last alive on your team, charge the enemy, running will get you slayed.

Equiptment
Only the Clan/Legion Leader is allowed to play as the best class and wear the best armor. The Second in command is allowed to use the Captain equivalent class.
For the Gallic faction, the two highest ranked members are allowed to use the best armor, the rest of the clan must use a shirt of their choice.
Greek factions must take the worst Linothorax, unless you're the officer.
Clan/Legion leaders must wear a different helmet to the regular troops.
Any weapons are allowed to be used by any faction.
