Heh, these blokes are actually pretty vicious. I start off the game, level up a bit (level 16) and then I have some decent equipment and decide to try out these Dark Knights, alone. I got like, 5 of the ****ers down and then I got gang raped by cavalry. 
Maybe attempting such a feat on foot against 400 people, half of them horsemen, wasn't such a good idea.

Well, now that I think about it, it might not be complete suicide. I've managed to get decent armies together after 25 days if I really tried. It would be very difficult, and it's doubtful you could beat one of them in a straight fight, but trying to get people to help you could help you win.
Probably not.

I tweaked the text files to increase my party size (insanely), now every point renown gives me an extra slot for my men (instead of 25 needed renown!), and I recruited a really tough army to challenge ALL THE LORDS TOGETHER AT ONCE muahahahahaha!

And if you want to see something REALLY suicidal:
I tried to set the battle sizer down on 25 and to fight the whole dark knight force on my own with blunt weapons (for a complete afternoon or so ), and guess what I found in the messages? (1 vs. 2700)
After the end of the battle (with a lot of ctrl+h of course ) I really lost this amount of renown... why? I should have gained 2896529836589266986395 renown for this action... or at least the same amount of stupidity points
Edit: I play on 100% difficulty - full damage and AI, auto blocking and battle sizer 200.

@tonecas: Use the Battle Sizer. Be aware that this will cause lag on slower computers, and may lock up your computer.

Joker, I'm guessing that the amount of renown you would get is so damn huge that whatever formula they use to calculate it just ended up ****ing it up. Not surprising, considering how you just killed 2700 men alone. I kinda doubt that when they made the game they were accounting for that, considering how in Native I don't think it's even possible to get that many people against you all at once.
