Came up with another suggestion after reading the 'Tull' thread.  How about Roland Deschain as a recruiteable companion.  He would need to have the highest pistol stats of any other recruiteable member.  That would be badass.
 
I must say, this is probably the most fun, creative, and well-desgined mod I've seen yet. Here are my suggestions though:


1. Add more banks to rob.

2. Add more cities, units, ranches/mines, etc..

3. Give the "Prostitute" NPCs some purpose. Right now, all you do apparently is waste 5 dollars or more. Make them boost party morale.

4. Add more NPCs to cities and saloons to give a more life-like feeling.

5. Add more weapons.

6. Add more scenarios/customization choices for scenarios.

7. Add many more quests.

it kinda makes sense, since after the civil war alot of the surviving confederate soldiers became part of the union army. and this mod is a year after the civil war.
Then wouldnt the Confederate mercenaries in theory also have Union uniforms?
 
Would be fun to have Wanted levels for the player which could rise or fall depending on many things. Maybe even a Notorious level as well which if high enough, would be like a very high prestige to some, utter enemies to others.

I wonder if the "Honour" thing could be use for that purpose.

Great idea. Seconded. Especially for the Bandit factions.
 
Hm, Highlander - What about using your "player kingdom" script too? :> I would love to see my own gang (or something like ressurected CSA) hanging around in the wild west!
Well, or just an "optional addon" with that option. Possible or not?
 
:idea: What about a key stroke that would switch the pistols back and forth from firearms to one-handed weapons and switch rifles back and forth from firearms to pole arms.

That would be great for times that the bandits get too close and you just wanna pistol whip or butt stroke them.  :grin: I imagine that would take alot of work and might not be possible but i like to carry a pistol, rifle, and ammo for each. Only problem is there's no room then for a melee weapon which would really come in handy sometimes.

1-agreed but just a few more, not all the towns need to have a bank
2-I think we have enough cities. But we would rather increase the detail of current towns/villages with new custom scene props, new characters, new quests. On the other hand we could add more quest related places like bandit hideouts, mines, ranchs, ghost towns, ruins etc.
3-Completely agree.
4-Agreed
5-I think we have enough weapons of all kinds, but a few more is not bad at all.

Increase the detail of current towns? Really? I'm not complaining by any means, i just thought you guys had already done a real great job with the towns.  There's all kinds of details already. I saw an outlaw swinging from a noose in one of the towns. :lol:
But I wouldn't complain if there was even more detail in the next release. Great job again.
 
Maybe give the gangs some more vassals and fiefs (or whatever they would be called in this mod). I've played for a couple of ingame weeks and a couple of the gangs have already been totally defeated.
 
- I would suggest to fix so that you doesn't loose the battle, if you would die. That you continue to see the battle, and that your soldiers continue to fight...
(Many other mods have this feature).

Overall the mod is great...
 
I would suggest to change the "bring me X men of class Y" - quest. This was already annoying in native to get exactly the dudes the quest requests. It would be much more accessable if the quest would accept either any prisoners of faction Z or at least a broader range!

I'am not sure is it possible....Even yes, it's still a lot of work. New animations and the other things. The main idea in Native is: right hand-weapon, left hand-shield or 2H weapons. It's hard to do, but nice idea.
 
If that's not possible they can make 2 handed pistol (if you understand me) to take one pistol in 2 hands, this will result a better accuracy.
