A thread for all of your suggestions. If your suggestion is bad please don't post it.

Bandit/Mercenary camp - your own camp where you can rest like a settlements - events like caravan, serfs,
soldiers attacking you, summons from lords etc

Runaway serf quest option: Escort them to there relatives village where it'd increase your relation with the villagers there.

Raiding village: When a village resist the enemy should be the village's levy.

Deserters: When troops desert you because of low party morale they should take a few items with them.

Tournaments: Should be crowded and have the king watching.

Yes but a real person is usually much better than the AI at fighting.
Are you going to change the bandits? I didn't really like them in native, they stick out a wee bit in this mod. Also their party sizes are relatively very large.

The bandit parties will be changed, concerning the parties sizes, I don't have the module in front of me now but I think I can tell that they are relatively smaller than native

I've got a suggestion.

Make some troops a bit stronger, cuz like you can in one of my screenies in the screenshot thread, the kingdom units are a tad bit too weak.

Being able to slaughter a whole army like group of derserters on your own means something of imbalance I daresay.

This will take a lot of work, but one thing that would be awesome to have, is a Holy Roman Empire. It wouldn't be just a huge blob of Germany called (Holy Roman Empire), but rather add every single state, county and duchy that was a member of the Empire, with elections for the Emperor inside the Empire's domain of states (kind of like the Marshall election system in Warband), and of course, the Emperor would have some privileges over the other states like a small percentage of each province's tax from every different state, and somehow be able to ask for military assistance more easily from them.

As you said, this would take a lot of work, and we're not sure to get a real result as it's almost impossible to put that number of factions  But I think there is a mod in construction dedicated to the HRE . otherwise, chances that we achieve what you're saying are very little

(I copied my comment in the nexus comment page, my user name is rhythmali there)
PERSONAL COMMENTS AND ADJUSTMENTS
1. WAY less horse-based units
2. better AI that doesn't always horse rush at the begging of the battle
3. a better way for non-lords to get troops. It is near to impossible to become a lord without an ample supply of meat-bags (starting a mercenary guild maybe?)
4. WAY LESS LOOTERS AND BANDITS <-- unless getting troops is made easier, this needs to get fixed immediately, it's not fun to get surrounded by looters and bandits 3 minutes after starting the game. Maybe it could be added to recruit or even join bandits and looters?
5. more variety in units. Units at the current time are rather bland and lack any differential.
6. because of the high Calvary amount, the game runs very slowly, which is no fun for a bug tester.

TROOP/FACTION IDEAS AND COMMENTS
- Scottish look like English, which look like Irish. Different nations should have drastically different troops.
-(For inspiration for Scottish (and English) , you should watch "Braveheart".)
-(Historically speaking) The Scottish had lots of brawling mismatched infantry (similar to the viegars and nords in vanilla warband), light pikes to avoid Calvary charge, and weak shields for blocking archery barrages. Along with light Calvary to pick off stragglers. The archers should be used like skirmishers, and the heavy infantry could have two handed axes or swords, but most importantly, THE TROOPS NEED KILTS! <--- I cant be Scottish without a kilt right?
-The English troops should have way less Calvary but the Calvary it does use should be very heavy chargers with lances and short swords. Plus the infantry should be rather uniform with unmounted knights wielding Claymores as the high-pay infantry. Archers should have very light to minimal armor, along with small swords to defend with, but be deadly/accurate with long bows.
-The Irish could be mismatched rabble who are weaker than the Scottish with spears and light armor, but have the quality to raise at least 3x the amount of troops as other factions in 1/2 the amount of time. this should give the weak infantry a fighting change to surround and engulf an enemy.
-also the Irish troops could be just renamed bandits with much better stats once trained. Most Irish infantry were very poor farmers, and the soldiers should reflect that.

FINAL COMMENTS AND CONCLUSION
I had some trouble with this mod, but it's an excellent start. Because this is only in Alpha, I'm impressed with how it has been shaped, and I look forward to playing/testing it as this goes through builds. I hope many of the problems and solutions I have mentioned will be helpful, and I wish you good luck with the mod. I will continue to test it for bugs, along with submitting bug reports in the future.

Concerning the similarity between the factions, it is intended. And the bandit issue is being considered too
If you are a non-lord you shouldn't be able to get troops, but you can enlist in a lord's army, if you stay there long enough you may become a lord and get your own troops.
I'm sorry but braveheart is not a reliable source, we are aiming for realism and are trying to be accurate to History, if you can provide some trusted sources, we'll be happy to modifiy the factions you listed according to that. and about the horses, we may reduce their number a little bit, but I must see with Udud first, I think he meant it this way.

And also thank you for the good words, you're feedback is more than welcome in order to improve the mod

What difficulty are you playing on?

Besides, try making your equipment more realistic. Less multitask heavy horsearcher. Try go sword and shield only, a much different story.

If I implented these suggestions this would become the most inaccurate mod in world history. It is not going to happen.

One thing is a legitimate point though. Horses. I have no illusion of balance yet. If it is general opinion that the classic feudal countries have too many horsemen. I will cut it, balance is important.

So what? It is possible to add death of Lords to Warband, refer to Brytenwalda.

Anyways, just saying. It would be the most awesome HRE in a Warband mod, revolutionary, realistic and in turn make your mod very competitive for players looking to roleplay a realistic general of an european army.

Yea, but I dislike that option a whole much. Overall it is not going to work.

No it would not be much realistic. But I am thinking it could work fell for certain republic states.

What? A HRE like I described WOULD be very realistic. Trust me, it wasn't a simple, united empire where the vassals followed the Emperor's every whim and it wasn't a cohese empire at all. Much better than naming a huge faction "Holy Roman Empire" and having it work like, say, England.

No, emperors were elected for life, making it unrealistic. Barbarossa was sitting solid in the seat, so it wouldn't make sense.

Yes but lord parties are much smaller and its harder to get troops yourself. Plus (playing in england and ireland) the map seems much more dense.

True, would it be possible to lower the max amount of men in a deserter party? Im playing in scotland and theres a party of 144 Deserters made up of English, Irish & Scottish soldiers rampaging and even making Kings run away from them
