With the Custom Battles I was thinking it should have a LAN/Online feature. The AI is horrible and having a real person taking command of the other army would be awesome.

Commander Battle perhaps? Seems to be exactly what you're describing.

It may be good to be able to customize what equipment you get.... maybe im just being dumb or maybe it could go into a different mod
