It's really good. What I would suggest fixing is to set both the melee running speed and shooting mode running speed the same, as I find it quite annoying that both the turning speed and the regular running speed is awkwardly different in melee.

Don't get me wrong though, the melee is very enjoyable and I think it's alot better than it used to be in MM.
 
The key to walking can not be changed. I used to have zoom-in at left shift(which is the key to walking), so I've been somewhat confused, as the option to do that has been deleted. I understand that zooming would ruin the meaning of the officer binoculars, but still changing the walking button should be possible, and zooming should not be shown in the controls as it is not even possible.
 
HEy tehre, at first, really good job guys, its betetr then i even expected, and i expected the best god damn game ever made :lol:

But well, theres a few thigns that could be fixed:

-Some cavalry officers sometiems spawn with invisible armor
-If youre a musician and you played a tune before a mapchange, the tuen will be continued on the ewn map, no matter if youre muscian or not, it will continue untill the track is over.

Thats all i found so far, really good job guys :wink:
 
Being able to SNAP, like in certain other games that also have line structure commanding
Example: when you walk right behind or next to someone, you see this icon appear that you snapped to that line, then you move automatically with the line commander (person in the middle most of the time) and if you want to snap out you just walk in a different direction.
All other commands still function normal while being snapped in (Firing, lancing, withdraw weapon, etc etc)

I think this feature would work out great!  :razz:
 
Unless I'm mistaken, Cuirasser breastplates don't offer any more armor than infantry uniforms.

A breastplate would offer decent protection from shrapnel or stray rounds (stray rounds at longer distances) or at least lessen their velocity significantly. Not to mention the fact that a breastplate would offer very good protection against pikes, bayonets and swords. Seems silly that these big steel breastplates that the french wear offer no more protection than a cloth garment.

I notice that Cuirassiers do have more health than other units, but health is not really an adequate substitute for armor rating, as armor is a much more dynamic value.
 
Can we make all **** on top of a wall disappear when its destroyed? They just float around.

Also, all the people who is in the wall should get some damage.
 
there should be a way to zoom or aim in slightly like warband and wfas maybe about have the zoom rate or a third of the zoom rate as the officer's scope
 
Hi guys,
i v been thinking about a way to solve the disorder in Multiplayer Battles.
Indeed players in multi get split and mostly fight alone.
So I have found out some suggestions :
- each battalions (of +/- 20 players) should be marked with whatever symbol so they would be identify easily.
- each battalions should have a major(which would have maybe more life than soldiers) which could play the role of respawn point and could indicates to his battailon simple orders like the target, the formation etc ..
- and last but not least soldier who belongs to a battailon should not be able to go too far from his major (certain distance).

PS :we could set a ruler that prohibe people to respawn near his major while the battalion is fighting (=very near from ennemy).

and guys keep developing great games like those one, this is great job.

in commander battles could we have a flag bearer and musician for each squad?



also could we have the ability to control the AI Bots in the normal Battle MP Mode? you could give control of the bots to the general of that faction, napoleon,welesy etc.
 
When in the Troop selection screen, it's hard to see the different ranks. Ranker/Captain etc. because of the kill feed down the bottom left, I would suggest relocating that part of the interface to somewhere else.

Also, when using artillery on siege etc. It would be good if there was some kind of indicator that told you if you hit the wall or not, like the "thump" you hear when you hit someone with a bullet.


In a siege battle, when a breach is made, and the a part of the wall falls, everyone currently fall's with it taking no damage, would be good if they took damage or even died from the fall, that way people would need to pay attention to the condition of the wall they are standing on.

THIS is seriously necessary.

Playing Commander mode, it's very easy to abuse flanking an entire enemy army just by running along the edge of the map and then flanking them, and the enemy can't do much about it because they're facing forward and can't respond to the flanking maneuver.
 
Will there be a collection of regimental flags within the community that will be put into the DLC any time soon or no?
 
Sorry if that has been suggested already, but I think there has to be some kind of (for servers optional) limit on artillery - so the server could set "x amount of artillerymen per gun", because right now it's a mess on the public servers. 2 men on each artillery, 1 reloading, 1 firing and it would be perfect.
 
I think we need an on screen indicator that tells if we are in walking or in running mode  :wink:
