Weapons like glaives seem to be limited to piercing well on a horse. Is this by design?

I have no idea how weapon direction works on foot.

Option to keep my helmet off in town? I look much cooler without it.

I don't think any two handed weapons I held in two hands well on a mount. Lack of animations?

Topographic map?

Intelligence contributing to skill points per level? I mean, we're looking at possibly eighteen extra skill points your entire game if you put loads into int. It just seems crappy.

I don't know quite what you're talking about with most of those, but as for the helmet, you can just press I while in town, take the helmet off, and put it in your inventory. Hell, you can run around in nothing but your trousers if you like.

Yeah, I realize that, though I think a dress up aspect to the game would be pretty important.
Restating
1.) You can't swing a Glaive well on a horse, you can only stab.
2.) Attack modes seem random on foot.
3.) Duh
4.) Two handed weapons are held and swung with one hand well on a mount.
5.) Topographic map. Where you could see the streams and such.
6.) Intelligence contributing to the number of skill points you get per level?
MORE:
7.) Consolidation of Slave Management and Leadership? Right now Slave Management is basically useless.
8.) Commands to a certain group? I'd like my Knights to dismount, my Men at arms to charge on their mounts, and my arches to hold their ground.
9.) Daggerfall-ish dressup?
10.) Jumping as a horse skill? Could I crush a goomba with it?

Putting points in the slave management skill gives you extra slave slots and the ability to have more prisoners. I don't consider it useless.

9.) Daggerfall-ish dressup?

You're currently only visible in 1 town (Zendar) and nobody seems to be able to say for sure if this is going to change in the future. If you're worried about how you look in combat, I think you have a few priorities wrong.

Um... no.

Yes, you can play Powergamerstyle, only showing at the Armor class and using only the most effective weapon... but if you want to roleplay instead, or just want to make you Hero look "cool", more power to you.

That being said, hadn't Daggerfall a "slotless" (you didn't see the slots) System? You would just draw the items to a doll of yourself (like the window, where you can see the face of the person you are talking to... only that it shows the whole body), and to remove items you draw the item from the doll back into the inventar.
