suggestions on settings to get 1000 troops on map

So far I set everything to medium with vsync on and still get low fps, usually in 30s and when the front gate collapsed in a siege it stuttered real bad and dropped to maybe 10. running 16gb of ram along with a 1080 ti and also a I7 8700k and its not overclocked right now. Just want to see if anyone else has figured it out or is this just something that will improve with patchs I enjoy having large amount of troops on the field vs graphics

Every siege does this for me.

Normal battles work perfectly tho, but my solution thus far has been to just go straight for the ladders and hope my soldiers kill more than theirs.

I have almost the same set up but a i7 7800x and i get down to 30 fps and stutters lower in sp with 1k units.

Playing on high/modified settings. Mp i can do high end or ultra no prob in siege.
