[Suggestion] Wounded horses

I think horses should "degenerate" as their HP would go lower. I sometimes shoot courser 4 times with longbow and its still running at the same speed. I suggest that especially these low cost horses should degenerate quickly if wounded in combat (lowering speed and maneuvrability, make them impossible to jump while low on health).

- There is no need to buy a warhorse or charger now (i'd benefit warhorse and chargers, that they wouldn't loose their speed and maneuvring abilities even with low health as the crap horses). I would also benefit them by adding extra trample damage. Because who had a warhorse was a king, who had a donkey was a ***** - now it doesn't work like this in M&B.

Same thing applies to everything else in this game so why complain, an archer runs just as fast with little health as it does with full.

1 universal system doesn't always work for all the things... if there is a reason why to change it to make the game better, i see no reason why not to do it.

it just depends if you find standing situation better, where there is no difference between warhorse and courser (except for the fact, that having a warhorse is a disadvantage). i think it is not, thuss i'm suggesting this improvement.

Why not have everyone bleed to death then, why only horses?

If you cannot kill a horse as an archer you aren't doing a very good job, most of the time horses will die in 1-3 shots.

they wouldn't blee to death - just wouldn't be so agile.

no horse dies in 1 shoot, and i haven't seen any that dies with 2...

why not to do the same with people? because i see no reason why to do that. but i see it why to do it with the horses - to benefit warhorses and chargers as i wrote in the 1st post.

Well you haven't played very long then I guess. Headshot to a horse = killed. Two shots to the chest pretty much = dead as well.

I think they buffed their hp recently, seems like 1 headshot, at least 4 body shots and 1 or 2 spear thrusts now.

1st: this is not true
2nd: you still don't understand why i suggested what i suggested so you argue in a way, that leads this to nowhere

(if i make it more clear - suggestion is here because of this: people on warhorse are really to WEAK, people on a stupid stumper horse are really to STRONG)

Hmm... And how about such idea: after wound the horse should sometimes try to drop the horseman and to leave a battlefield.

P.S. I remember my first riding experience:  the horse has dumped me on the earth

Horses are already pretty squishy to begin with, though. I think they'd have to increase their health to do something like this.

That's not true. Warhorses and chargers have a higher charge rating, allowing them to plough through more infantry without rearing and dealing more damage to those they hit. They also have more armour; if it's taking you four shots to down a courser it'll take you eight or more to drop a warhorse.

seems like everybody except me likes how are the horses set up now (

Do you even play cavalry ?

Try playing it for a bit then come back and tell us what happened.

aprox. 1/5 of time i play it. but haven't find any reason why should i buy a warhorse yet - but probably i am stupid and you are the clever one.

Calling cavalry's horses strong is pretty stupid since they die rather easily, thats why I said you should try just playing cavalry and then come back and see how fragile they really are. Also I stand with my previous statement that if you want horses to have wounds and be slower why not for infantry, it seems you play mostly infantry/archer and cant hit the horse which is quite a simple task.

Well as someone who often plays cavalry I can agree with him that warhorses aren't too usefull for their cost. I know there are some people that buy hunters and warhorses, but warhorses are barely ever bought and I don't think I ever saw anyone with a charger. But meh, I'd say make saddle horses, coursers and steppe horses much more rubbish for their cost, give more reason to buy hunters or warhorses. Use the cheaper horses for speed and evading. After all they're faster then warhorses, yet if you play properly you can easily charge people without having the horse rearback.

As long as chargers/warhorses are considerably slower then the speed of other horses I see no real reason to buy them. I have a few times but they aren't to great really since you will lose most of the time to other more faster cavalry and infantry and archers have an easier time tearing you apart because of your speed. The extra armor really doesn't help to much compared to the loss of speed.
